Hardwick new coach?

I'm sure that some of the earmarked cleanout players are able to play a role under the Hardwick regime. Fear can be a great motivator.
If they are 100% fit and young, I would give players a year to shape up.
If we get rid of players who are no longer physically capable, we are on the road to success. There will not be enough in the draft to warrant too many de-listings.
Rather than name players, we should establish criteria based on the potential to work for the new coach. Brad Ottens and David Rodan are examples of players who were capable of rapid improvement under a superior coaching regime.

I'd laugh if Tezza started his line of b.s. spin to Hardwick. He might just smack him..and say thats for keeping JON, McMahon, etc etc.

Great result, great process, great job ahead.Welcome aboard Damien & please turn this club around.& people it's a huge job & lets give him the time & chance to succeed.

How you feeling now numb nuts SHEEHAN. You were wrong now lets see you come out and admit it on the back page.

He's already said again that it was North that overlooked Hardwick just this afternoon.

There will be no apology from Specs.

Could ch7 have gotten it wrong???

Now that would be funny.

Great professional effort by the RFC in going through the process and congrats to Hardwick on getting the job. Do what you have to do and give this place a big shake up. It's long overdue.

Once we get to the draft we will have a better idea as to whether this is the start of a new era at RFC or just more of the same. I am hoping that this is the start of a new era.

No, no, no! PLEASE NO!!!
OK, there may be a few of the much younger players who you would give ONE YEAR but no more. And I'm sure there are some not so young that Hardwick already wants out. All I can say is, DO IT.

Up until this year, this was the fundamental error in Wallace's tenure ... not cleaning out enough in 2005.

Please, please, please Damien don't make the same mistake. You will regret it and it will be too late. Even if you do end up offloading a player or two who shine at another club, the overall benefit to the RFC will have been worth it.

will it be up to damian to clean out,or is that up to cameron and the gang on the list management committee to decide this

Im not much of a Cameron fan to be honest isnt he the imbecile responsible for re signing Schulz, King, and Polo ffs.

Cameron has to get it right or get out.

Not happy this got out before we had a chance.

There was zero chance it wasn't going to get out. That is just the way of the world - communication is way to easy these days. WW2 was run out of some communications bunker, now some dude with a mobile phone and access to the internet can do it!!

He has my full support, but will need to earn my full confidence. Been burned too many times and have scars to prove it.

I will be interested in the details and what happens over the next 3 months.

wrong
ww2 was run out of a number of locations, none of which were singularly important. Churchill had his bunker under 10 downing st, and Roosevelt, had a war room in the white house which became the mythical Situation room below the oval office. Stalin on the other hand ran the war out of bunker under Lenins tomb and red square funnily enough. In fact he rarely went into the bunker as he was a claustrophobe. Preferred to sit in the kremlin office near beria to keep an eye on things.

geez some have fallen already lets see how he actually performs next season before the love fest....
