Hardwick new coach?

His presser will be interesting, I honestly don't know how well he speaks. I wonder if he will go on the Footy Show like Scott did? I doubt he will and I hope he doesn't. That is one amateur show that doesn't deserve serious football news.

Just found a 7 minute audio on Hardwick relating to Buddy's on-field incident in June 2008.

The last 3 minutes are interesting.

"However in August 2009, Hardwick was was successful, being named the new coach of the Richmond Football Club."

So successful it was was successful... ;D

It is on Wiki, it must be so.

Lol you just reminded me of The Office....... Michael Scott: "Wikipedia is the best thing ever. Anyone in the world can write anything they want about any subject, so you know you are getting the best possible information."

It's too early but my confidence on having Dimma as a successful coach are way better than my hopes on when Frawley and Wallace were announced.

Yep. My thoughts exactly. Go get'em Hardwick.

How long til he's being referred to as Hackwick??
Too many options I'm afraid.

I used to call him Hardprick when he played for Essendon. ;D

First intra club match when we get flogged.

I'm waiting for Dribbler and Gaff to make the first official bagging of our new coach. ;D

I wonder how this appointment is going to translate in the all important 2010 membership numbers? Plus or minus?

I will wait until Richo's status in confirmed .

my guilty pleasure in his appointment is that he comes from Essendon - a club that has nothing but contempt for our club & culture: I hope he makes us like Essendon of the past 25 years (which is like Richmond of the 25 before that)

Depressing day today.

Not because I disagree with Hardwick appointment, but because I had the sad realisation of just how numb this year has made me (even more than the previous 20 odd). I expected to care a lot more about RFC appointing a new coach.

I'll still buy my membership and go to every game but it will be a while before I can invest emotionally. :'(

Overlooked for the Melbourne, Essendon, & Kangaroos head job. I just hope we have made the right decision.

Abraham Lincoln was rejected far more times than Hardwick and went on to become President - but then again he was shot while in office ;D
