I use to think Monty was a pompus dog ::)

Did we see Old Bobby Allenby had another Caddy walk of on him again the other day, what a jovial man he must be to work for ;D

Monty is a pompous dog. :hihi

Didn't see that about Allenby but have just had a quick read. That must be about 3-4 caddies in the last couple of years. Seems to be one common denominator.

Must be up to a dozen now in his career :spin

I use to coach a young kid who had cancer when he was younger an he and his family couldnt speak higher of Bobby for what his done with his foundation, but then I also know extremly well a gentlemen who spend a lot of time with him in the VIS plus countless players who have had the displeasure of playing with him,not a popular sportsman thats for sure

Badds played really well. Unfortunately it's hard to beat a personaltyless birdie machine.

A good win by Brett Rumford in Europe as well.
Intresting call Freezer ,T Woo is well known as just about the most popular bloke on tour an Rumford is well known for suffering from Head very far up ass syndrome ;D

Don't know a lot about Rumford. Saw him interviewed after his win yesterday and he seemed ok.

I just don't like Woods. Granted, his golf is on another planet and his ability to get out of trouble is astonishing, but I find him too cold and detached. Probably one of the reasons he's so good. I like to see a bit of flair and character on the golf course, a la Ian Poulter or John Daly - you never know what you're gonna get.

Guys like Seve and Jack Nick were interesting to watch as well as great golfers.

I just think Woods learned very young that if you try too hard to be a 'media personality' you end up getting burned. Word is that he is a great guy, very funny and loves playing up with his mates, but he is VERY good at keeping this to himself and apart from his media persona. I think he comes across pretty well be plays a very straight bat with the media.

A bad result for the Masters. Badds just lacks all personality. Everything about him is boring
Talking of boring, sheesh the C7 coverage is dull.
Cutting to the news was a joke.

its just all so out of date.
that new titleist ball ad is an absolute shocker

7 are a joke. Jack Newton is a tired, cliche driven whinger. "Patty" sucks. Whole 7 thing is just as they have always been in anything they do: backward and stale.

Heard an interview on the radio with Allenby on Friday. What a wanker. Complained about how much it cost to bring his family to Australia because he has to fly everyone down first class. Boo hoo hoo......not making enough millions obviously. Learn to putt I reckon.

Yep Allenby is one of the biggest wankers I've ever met.

And channel seven managed to turn what was a great tournament into an embarrassment. Just give all the golf to Fox.

Haha did he actually say that? What a tool!

Played st andrews beach on saturday for the first time
Stupid, stupid course, no wonder its gone broke

I nearly drove off the road listening to the Allenby interview.

Besides saying it cost a lot to fly first class, he also commended himself on his play in the first round by saying 5 under was the worst score he could have shot and referred to himself as being "great" on the day.

He then had a whinge about lack of money in Australian golf and again commended himself on playing for free every year.

Ive never liked Allenby from day one. You only have to listen to the guy for a few minutes...his tone...what he says...the inferences etc. to know that he's a tool.

Allenby has spent his whole life wingeing
He's never happy

Just listen to the way he carries on each time he misses a putt. FFS he must hate the game

Sandy also PMO the way he went on about Peter O'malley, Peter Senior, and anyone else over 35

i played at Settlers Run yesterday. its only been open 3 weeks.

its a beautiful course, really blended into the landscape well. it looks like its been there forever. a real links style course with long long rough on every hole, the sort that makes looking for a stray drive like finding a needle in a haystack. tricky greens, beautiful fairways.

i shot a cricket score

Why is it stupid? I haven't played there myself.
