What did he say Jack?

BTW, Harrington's speech was apparently very good - what did you think?

Well JB , let me see if I recall , he was asked about his Tee shot on the Par 3 that hit the Flag and bounced 20 feet or so away. (16th in the playoff)
He started by saying something to the effect that , "Yeah it's amazing how some Guy's do that and the ball stops an inch from the Cup , but not me , oh no , mine goes 20 feet away" , basically saying that he never get's the breaks. Then he went on to say , "It's not the First time it's Happened" .
Basically , he was real sour , that he was the ONLY Guy that never get's the breaks when it comes to Golf .................Sure a lot of it had to do with the Heat of the Moment , but he made it sound like it's a "ME against the World" type situation when it comes to winning Golf Tourney's.

Just real weird to hear those sort of comments from the guy if you know what I'm getting at.

The Media will run with for a few Day's and sensationalise it to the fullest no doubt but I 'd just put it down to disappointment.

CC, women's golf is about the only female sport I can watch (+ netball). While they can in no way hit the ball as far as their male counterparts, their accuracy and control is first class. I reckon if both sexes played on a Pitch and Putt somewhere, the women would compete more than favourably. Their approach play and around the greens work can be brilliant.

Not to mention some of the Scandinavian lasses...!

Well Guy's , just found out I'm heading to Tulsa on Monday (Aug 6) for a week of fun and festivities with a few of our Boy's at the PGA Championship.....................Cool , 2nd year in row to witness a "Major".

Will let you all know how it goes , will be hot , that's a Given.

Hoping our Boy's can come up with a better performance than the other Major's this Year .....................Lucky Last for 2007.

Just a boring golf story ,,,I was even on the par 5's the other day an did not have a par or any or the same scores ::)

nothing like the 3,4,6,7 combo CC.
Stevie getting tied 7th is good for him and hopefully gets his season moving up.

Well Boy's , just got back from Tulsa and the PGA Championship , my boy missed the cut by 1 , so decided to head home rather than hang out for another 2 day's.
It was so HOT , I can't even begin to descibe it.................absolutely Miserable.

Stuey still in but a couple over Today has him out of the running and Ogilvy's double bogey onthe 18th has killed any chance he had.

Senden playing very well , hopefully a good last round can see him finish 2nd , as I can't see anyone catching Tige.

How was that for a 2nd round Yesterday !! The Guy is incredible , it's hard to find words that do him justice. Got to see him close up on the Putting Green last Wed. (Had an All-Access Pass.............What a Bonus that is ! )
He putt's and keeps his eye's directly lined up where the ball starts and doesn't move his head or eyes for 5 full seconds after contact with the ball.
Incredible concerntration , I watched closely from no more than 5 yards away and was in awe of the Guy's ability to stay that focused.

I think he'll win by 6 or more Tomorrow.

Happy for Nathan Green , great round Today , hopefully a top 3 finish would be great , might help him get some "Pull" with Immigration to get his Caddie , Shannon , back in the Country and resume his duties. Seems he had some Visa problems recently and was refused entry back in , so I imagine he's back there somewhere cooling his heals.

Anyway , I'll be happy to watch the last round on the Telly , wish I was still there in a way , love being around the Guy's and catching up with a few ol' faces , but the heat was to much for this Ol' Boy to handle.

Oh , nearly forgot ......................Badd's Caddie was taken off the course on Fri with heat exhaustion and the word I heard was he puked on Badd's shoes on the Practice Range ....................."Badd" Day all round , as he missed the Cut by 2.

Barwon Heads GC on fire.

Redford had a bad round?

Whoa................That's to weird.

I'm back in Geelong after nearly 20 years in the States and here I am siiting at my Brother-in-Laws computer and he's just walked out the door to go play at Barwon Heads.

Talk about coincidence !!!!!!

played at Lang Lang yesterday

can you believe they call that track "the Augusta of Gippsland"?
