Golf

Cheers TBR. Very interesting synopsis.

I've spoken to quite a few who went, and all said much the same as you. All had a great time. As a result of your experience are you now more likely to watch more LIV golf on tv, or do you think it's one of those things where the live viewing far exceeds the televised one ?

I think golf in general is better watched on TV than live, just because it is physically impossible to see everything happening, but you can't beat a close up view of a pro golfer in action.

I already watch a lot of LIV, I like the format and the coverage much more than the PGA Tour and I'll certainly be tuning in as much as I can in future.

Smiffy and the Rippers out of the blocks quickly in the Singapore LIV event.

Great to have big time golf on at a watchable hour. Spectacular looking course Sentosa as well.

Great pressure round of 66 by Fins to comprehensively shut out Rham.

Dylan Wu. 10 fingers on the grip. Interesting.

Hannah Green wins ! Aussie girls killing it.

"If I'm willing to do this, you should too".

"No other athletes in the world get to choose when and where they play. We've all just gotten a little soft."

That's what Lord McIlroy said in the Full Swing doco about players who were pushing back on the new PGA schedule.

Nothing but a hypocritical wanker of the highest order.

Huh ?

The guy said he needed a break, knew he’d drop a bundle, and is wearing it on account. In other words, playing by the standards you’re talking about.

Why, has he complained about dropping the $3m ?

I see a couple of chokers from the Masters are teeing it off together in the Wells Fargo.
