Right. He’s probably correct where making them play a certain number of events is concerned. Extend that to certain number of specific non-primo events too.That was just Chamblee saying if the best players aren't made to play a certain number of events then private equity might be needed to supplement the prizemoney as the sponsors etc will drop off if ratings aren't good enough.

The AFL should be 17 rounds only. Play each team once. One year at home, the next away.
Problem with the NFL analogy though MD is that there’s 32 teams serving 32 cities across the USA. Might just be 17 games, but the coverage is broad. You play just 17 PGA Tour events at just 17 locations, and a lot of cities and fans miss out.
