Game Day vs Crows

Just don't know why this is too hard for the club. We're stooging ourselves.
Yep. Just don't get it. Even mid season draft we went for another skinny flanker who is unavailable for 8 weeks.

Butler, Higgins, Menadue, Caddy, Garth and Bobble had forgettable ones tonight.

Note to Stack man ... never....ever........embrace the opposition during the game.

Didn't mind it all, another good game by Sydney.

If stack was just battling, not getting it done and he did that with Betts, I'd be rope able but given he was one of our best and is performing every week he can do as he likes.

Yep. Smothered Betts a minute before and gave a bit of lip.

Stack has terrific traits missing in the majority of our list (notably some senior players).

He gets some inside ball which you miss. Has polish. Must play

Don't subscribe to the 'glorious loss' bulldust. We capitulated tonight at the cruciual moments ,,, and we could all see who cannot stand up when it matters. You can still win in the face of adversity if everyone really commits 100%. Several guys either didn't ... or are just not up to it.

The game plan is continually failing but Hardwick, in his typical obdurate style, is refusing to face it. We surrender possession to sit off and supposedly tackle and win the ball back on TO, then hurt the opposition going the other way when they are supposed to be exposed. But our opposition have studied us and know. So they dominate possession and capitalise, knowing the key is to just keep the ball as much as possible and convert chances, especially through aerial dominance.

So many smalls that are contributing very little, not in the capacity to win the ball enough, nor dispose effectively, nor score goals. A really poor team in the air. Several players just fly for the spoil with no intention to mark it, or ability to ?, while the opp just knows to wait down and collect the crumbs.

Our defence was a shambles last week, and little better tonight.

Are you serious? Graham’s best game in 2 years. 23 touches and 11 tackles. He was enormous.

Stats mean nothing if they were mostly ineffectual. Graham was putrid. Momentum killer and fumbly all nite.

Can’t believe Naish had 19 touches - You don’t notice him that much

He did a couple of small things that suggested he’s a player. The club expected him to be a bit of a project player and he’s still second year. Doing OK early days.

Most were predicting a slapping and we served up a competitive effort. A couple of the usual fellas and a few younguns had. Patchy games but we brought it all night. The only criticism I have is that Shai would have been well suited tonight in place of Menadue or Buttler. I was proud of the effort from a bunch of players who have no continuity playing together and are banged up. Stack made me very happy.

I'm tipping the Coaching staff wont feel the same way.

Would you say the same if it was Broad embracing Walker.

Now that is what is known as a pointless hypothetical. Context baby, context. It is a subtle and compelling beast. Some get it, some don't.

Great effort with the team we had the 3 imposters from the crows cashed in at the end lets get some boys back and steady the ship.

I must say though the commentators were pathetic the games hard enough to watch with the rule changes but I won’t listen to those muppets again.

Same attitude sees Ablett let off while Soldo sits on his arse.

Yep and those same battlers still think Goodes is a sook.
