Game Day vs Crows

3 things I do know.Ellis,Butler,Menadue and Graham are all screwed when players come back.

Alright well another 30 plus point loss, but this one was a bit different. We were right up against it and the guys really did well - it wasn't like the two games prior. The final score doesn't reflect how close this one was.

A few observations:

- Lynch did really well - can't understand any of this "useless" or "can we get our money back" or other negative stuff. Talia went off, but even before that Lynch was v good.

- *sigh well Higgins is done, has to be. Really bad. At this point I can't see the "he''ll be a 200-gamer" stuff you'd read last year.

- Choi was a real surprise. We still got flogged in the ruck and it REALLY hurts us, but he added a bit even so.

- Stack fantastic again. Dusty ditto.

We did well, considering.

Okay but jeez not without some justification. He's got to be in the conversation for best small forward ever.

Wasn't sighted all night then bobs up for a junk time goal.

Grimes owned him tonight

gary lyon is so hard to listen too. cant believe he constantly gets gigs in the media.

Butler, Higgins, Menadue, Caddy, Garth and Bobble had forgettable ones tonight.

Note to Stack man ... never....ever........embrace the opposition during the game.

Thought we were good apart from some really poor errors at crucial times.

yep. just not clean enough when it mattered. and those errors coming from the usual suspects ...

Are you serious? Graham’s best game in 2 years. 23 touches and 11 tackles. He was enormous.

We are seeing how many players were carried by our guns over the past 2 seasons.

When the guns aren’t there you see how many big ordinary footballers we have, many of whom are premiership players.

Maybe we got closer than we should have. There were periods where we got destroyed.

yeah we hung in and hung in. I'm pretty pleased all things considered. We had a majority of second and third tier players in the side.

I thought he was good too, surprised at all the attacks on him. Sure he had a couple of poor handballs (who didn't have a couple of poor disposals) but he was really good other than that and important for keeping us in the game.

Dusty was awesome tonight.

Lynch played one of his better games, great to see him leaping for the ball.

I thought it was all class.

Agree. An acknowledgement of talent. A mutual sign of respect. Beautiful and appropriate.

Makes a fair difference if you could replace the ten weakest with the best ten who were missing.

I liked what I saw with Chol, Lynch , Dusty and Stack. Prestia had heaps of the ball but needs to polish up on his kicks for goal on the run. An expected loss but we got much closer than I thought we would.

Understand Snake but we had them on the ropes at the start of the last quarter. We should have nailed them. I am bloody disappointed.
