Injuries have had a huge impact plus we got to face that cotch should retire,being a great bang in warrior but he's barely played a good game this year,in fact has declined constantly last 3-4 years.
We have a brilliant draft hand and our most pressing need is a high pocession mid who gets lots of ball every week,our weak mid has led to our decline.

Only thing that concerns me about Jack is the whole "Family" thing these days and where the AFL is at while Covid is still a problem. I can understand these bloke with young families and having to leave the Missus with all the duties, has definitely affected the Skip in a big big way the last few years, I'm fully expecting this to be his last hoorah to be honest.

I’ll say it again. No team outside of Geelong in the modern era have won a flag in their 5th season at the top.
We were always going to be up against history from Rd1, particularly as your stars get older.
I was happy for this to be a transition year. These last 7 weeks and the draft are pivotal to us bouncing back quickly.

Dont disagree but the biggest issue is the youngsters we have. None look like capable players

Wonder if *smile* supercoach Hardwick will see what everyone else has seen for the last 6mths. Houli, Cotch and Jack are finished and Naish, Ross, Aarts and Cantstandya are *smile* park footballers.

Jack is going ok. 5th in the Coleman right now. Do you wear one of those I'm with stupid T-shirts with the arrow pointing up?

Houli and Astbury are finished in my eyes.

Cotch is showing that he can't play full time midfield any longer. He's gone from that. Either needs a reset to another position or it may be the end.

There’s something to this. Something has happened. We’ve gone from near flag favourites to the worst team in the comp in a 2 game window. That doesn’t happen without some sort of impetus.

I’ve never seen anything like this in all my years of watching football. It’s unfathomable how bad we are. We won a *smile* flag 16 games ago and now we’re putrid.

And the 2nd of those teams won a 4th flag a couple of years earlier?

So every great modern football club has won multiple premierships over a window that spans 5 years and over, and we’ve only had 4 years so far..?
