GAME DAY Tiges v Pies

OMG. I think PRE crashed on me or my internet, but if I hear any more Ch7 media rave about the Daicoses, I will throw up all over my laptop!

Fireworks at a Round 3 game? WTF? They haven't just won a final
It’s modern football. Need usb sockets in the seats so the attention deficient can charge their phones while they view Tik Tok instead of the game.

That’s it, she’s all over.

Seriously who actually expected us to win this? Not me anyway.

Wet weather was once our one wood, now I’m not so sure.

We lack speed and spread. Too many extractor types who don’t cover the ground. As well as they used to anyway.

Coupled with a tall forward line not suited to the conditions, we were always going to be up against it.

Tonight was a free hit of sorts. We swung, and we missed. But all is not lost.

We have a good squad, the match committee need to stop playing favourites and pick the best side to give us a chance.

Our down the line bombing to the flank is so predictable.
The pies fed off this.
We looked so much more dangerous when we took the angles and gave the ball to Cumberland etc.
Pies looked rattled when we came inboard

It's unbelievable that we still don't have players that can take relieving marks.
We drop easy marks
We slipped over all night.
And at times we looked soo slow.
If Prestia is still injured, then rest him.

I keep changing my mind about how good Collonwood are.
They have an ability to get the absolute best from seemingly ordinary players, and have done for a long time. A forward line of Mihocek and McStay looked 10 times more dangerous than a forward line of Lynch and Riewoldt. Frampton played like Rance, their oldies are aging like wine, ours are aging like milk.

Dawes, Leigh Brown, the Clokes, Lokan, the Lonie sisters.... they just keep doing it.

We hit the body hard tonight. Collingwood got a physical work over from a fading team.

How easy they took the ball down the ground from a kick in. That little prick was allowed to run free all night.

How about we just start playing the players that have shown something in their best positions and stop this rubbish need to learn new tricks crap. Cumbo and Miller should be in this senior team. Clarke's form in the ressies was not good enough yet he was selected and it showed. Banks should have got a game tonight. Sonsie MUST come in. Old legs need to be told thanks but the time has come.
Lets stop giving the opposition a leg up each week with our crappy selections

Not a bad result, four of our best 18 out, against the most red hot side.

Could’ve easily folded and lost that by 50+. Young blokes showed plenty.

Need games into Clarke, Cumberland and Sonsie should come in next week.

Are old guys are ageing fast at each end of the ground, some of our core is getting exposed.

Interesting times. 1 win, 1 draw, 1 honourable loss. Learned nothing major but I’m nervous.

Wrong. He took possession, took three steps and tried to run through Jack. Similarly, De Goey tried to run through four Richmond players, brought to ground, ball up. Prior opportunity is a *smile* rule, umpired poorly.

The rules are a mess. Made worse by making amendments to rules that already weren’t working.

May as well have PluckaDuck out there spinning his chooklotto barrel to decide what’s a free kick and what isn’t.

Not bad free pick up Quanynoor.
How the *smile* did they get him for free??
The NGAs are a *smile* joke and Scumwood have rorted it more than anyone. Somehow got access to the Oakleigh Chargers as an NGA?? The best football academy in Australia!

That kid and the other one, McInnes, were both born Australia and grew up in the reasonably affluent middle class eastern suburbs of Melbourne playing for strong established junior clubs. Yet because they have a parent that was born in Africa or the Phillipines, and migrated here 30 *smile* years ago, Scumwood get NGA access to them?? *smile* right off!

And we have to struggle with access only to the likes of Eggman from areas with genuine disadvantage who are genuine NGA prospects and are behind the 8 ball from day one. What an absolute *smile* joke.
