GAME DAY Tiges v Pies

We gave away all our runners and left we nothing now.
Pickett what's the matter?
Tarranto is playing like a 16yr old.

Forward line is not working - get cumbo on bet he kicks 3 goals in the 2nd half and we will all be saying he should have been in the team from the start

Nankervis, Grimes, Riewoldt.

Done, done, done.

Next gen please.

Game would be looking different if the Tiges didn’t butcher so many disposals.

Not sure how much of it is due to their fitness / pressure of the game and how much of it is just due to pure poor skill.

And missed tackles; bloody hell isn’t tackling one of the main components of the game?

Graham too slow
Ross foot steps
Riewoldt slow
Sampson not ready
Clarke why?
Mansell why why??

Clarkes been good. But its strange where we are playing him. Seems to be rotating onto the wing, but for some reason rotating onto our right wing, which means he's always on his wrong foot when receiving the ball out wide.

Haven't been able to watch or listen...yet.

Is it their pressure that's causing our skill errors or are we just not performing?

Hung in there pretty well considering how well Collingwood are playing and how poorly we are. Last 10 minutes was a lot better but still not a lot of system going forward. Collingwood look similar to us at our peak in that there are always more of them in the camera shot.

Can they rub the fwds down with dog *smile* at the half to maybe entice some separation from themselves and the opposition due to the smell

Can't question our endeavour, pressure, tackling etc...

It is pure forward efficiency. We've played 6 quarters at the MCG and kicked one or less goals in 5 of them.

Even with the wet, it's not acceptable. Hardwick needs to earn his reputation by getting together a system that works.
Can't agree about our tackling; it's poor. Pies players just brush us off or stand up and handball to a team mate. If we ever stick one we generally get penalised for too high. Our tackling lacks strength, vigour and technique.

What is it about front and square that repulses Richmond players?

Ball drops Collingwood waltz it out.

Need to get the ball in Juddy Clarke's hands, such a good user of the footy

A bit of both. When we get it to half forward, they seem to have so many more players there. Not being at the ground I can't tell why, they may be taking risks and leaving their man to go to the contest, if we start winning them, we might get out the back, but there have been some very ordinary disposals by several of our boys.
