Hopefully our 1st half is like our 3rd qtr last week.

We're still in it, some maning up would be nice, been chasing tail through the midfield all night and making the sub par Collingwood defence look like superstars

Not working hard enough to create options - either around the ball or forward or the ball. Clearly out worked. A lot of stagnant ball watchers. Need to get working and create options. Thank god for Baker, Balta and Grimes.

We are being beaten by a team playing the brand of football we played when we won 3 premierships. Hunting in packs, pressure, pressure, pressure. Handball forward of the pack.

And yes we are too slow. If it wasn't wet they would be a mile in front IMO.

Re the Riewoldt tackle that caused so much angst, now there is more time to explain, it's a simple case of no prior opportunity.

Unless he fended, twisted or turned to dodge, baulked etc to avoid being tackled in the first place then there is no way it could be holding the ball.

Perfect tackle, wrapped him straight up with no chance to dispose of the ball legally, ball up.

Without prior opportunity it is nearly impossible to win a free kick for holding the ball.

Can't agree about our tackling; it's poor. Pies players just brush us off or stand up and handball to a team mate. If we ever stick one we generally get penalised for too high. Our tackling lacks strength, vigour and technique.

Have to agree to disagree, I reckon our defensive 50 tackling has saved us 4 goals.

Haven't been able to watch or listen...yet.

Is it their pressure that's causing our skill errors or are we just not performing?
They're quicker than us, so we're always under pressure. They play a lot like we used. But even when clear, our skills are poor
