GAME DAY Tiges V Giants

Was really disappointed in some of senior core tonight.

Worst game I’ve seen from Dylan Grimes, has to be crook or crippled. Prestia, Riewoldt, Lambert and Nank had zero impact.

The result isn’t a shock but the way it happened was.
Yeah all those blokes you mentioned were terrible tonight. Lambert "Derrickxed" a couple of marks within a minute of each other in the second quarter. Jack had one of his poor games where he looks really bad; 10m in clear but knocks it on over his head straight to an opponent instead of grabbing it. That Nank handball that gifted Mummy a goal. Prestia hatching the ball and just looking at the umpire before getting pinged.

Ugly stuff all around tonight.

Lambert, Shedda, Cotchin and Lunch all ineffective.

Graham is not a midfielders ahole and Riewoldt needs to retire.

It’s like he can’t accept that the game has changed
He backed our gameplan to overcome the hurdles, as it did the last two years. It's not possible to make wholesale changes after the pre-season. He spent eight years building it and the AFL kicked it over like a sandcastle. Hope he lets loose at the presser.

The stand rule killed us.

It was brought in to kill us off and it worked a treat.

Tigers burnt up what petrol tickets they had in the first half of the season trying to pressure against a style that wouldnt let them, with no real pre season behind them.
So are they going to change the rule or are we going to change?

Never buy into the 8 year plan. he was on the chopping block, at end 2016, and he made the big changes then.

124 marks in just over 3 quarters to the GWS. Wowee exciting stuff. Love watching a stack of uncontested marks.
I may have watched my last game of footy until 2022, might just watch the Grannie.
Footy is almost unwatchable now. It is moving inexorably to a minimal contact possession game.
i was brought up on tough, hard footy which so many of us loved. I fear I have seen the last of it.

hard to watch. Flogged by the opposition and the umps, was like watching a game in the late 80s. How late was that whistle when Cotchy was poleaxed twice? Prestia abused the ump soon after and I don't blame him. Whistles were really late to obvious frees to us in the first half. They eased up a bit when the game was gone.

We're limping to the line this year.

I call bullsit, 2 goals 2 behinds as a small forward what did the other small forwards do??????
Shai is at 55.48 = 53 %. That is bloody ordinary career conversion in anyone’s language.

George is 54%.
