Going that well they signed Nic Maddinson who got past 25 runs only twice last year.
The way this Rona BS is rolling the 20/20 might have to be hubbed in Tassie and Perth.
Without the black humour of Pre-Enders today it would have been pretty dismal

They need to have the Tiger Army cheering them on. Hope every tiger supporter can get vaccinated asap. You can bet a vaccine passport will be needed next year.
Well thank God that's over. 2021 can go and get *smile*. As much as the last four years have been awesome this year has been distinctly unenjoyable. COVID ravaged and the football year is shithouse as well. The new rules have changed the game for the worse immeasurably; it is just horrible to watch.
And Richmond has been horrible to watch as well. We have not adapted at all and at times we look like a team of blokes that had never played a game in their lives. Skill level is abysmal and the lack of real plan that culminates in excessive bombing into outnumbered contest has been immensely frustrating. And we did it all year. Plus the midfield was woeful and the clearance mauling that we copped every week was embarrassing to watch. Not to mention so many halves of footy where we could only score a goal or two.
But *smile* it; it's done now. Hopefully the boys can have a well deserved long break and refresh. Hopefully the coaches can come up with a plan that makes us good to watch but also allows us to win clearances and contested ball, deliver the ball to our forwards with efficiency and compete at high level. Let's hope the recruiters can find us some more mids and key position players.

After what the AFL have done to the game it doesnt bother me as I probably wont be going to another AFL game again, the whole experience is garbage compared to what it was and the game is unbearable.
I'll stick to the VFL I prefer the old school ways as a spectator and fan.
I've worked at dozens of AFL games which is good however.
Was really disappointed in some of the senior core tonight.
Worst game I’ve seen from Dylan Grimes, has to be crook or crippled. Prestia, Riewoldt, Lambert and Nank had zero impact.

I refused to believe that Dimma’s marriage collapse would effect us, but clearly it has effected Dimma as he has been terrible this year. Sort your private life out or move on. It’s like he can’t accept that the game has changed

It’s the latter part that is the concern to me. The rule changes have done two things in my opinion:
- accelerated the need to win clearance/stoppage (6-6-6);
- accelerated the need to run to space and be elite kicks (which we aren’t plus we can’t/don’t defend it).
Agree. There were a lot of token efforts rather than genuine and hungry ones tonight - same as all year really.
