Game Day Thread - Tigers V Eagles

As I posted above, Actually the wording isn't correct. We won by 110 v Foots in 1980 and then the next biggest was 107 against South in 1975 which is that 47 years mentioned.
Nah not sure what you’re getting at. They said it was our biggest win in 47 years. We won by 4 bigger margins in 1980 alone including 152 against Saints. Not to mention 113 against Saints in 1985 and 151 against Lions in 1996.

Whichever way you slice it they cocked it up bad.

How good is our club?
Kennedy kicks his 700th goal tonight as soon as his team mate's finished congratulating him, Balta walks up to him shakes his hand and pats him on the back.
We are a A1 sporting organisation

That's what I said. Their wording is not correct.

Amazing, last week the team couldn't run to save their lives and this week they couldn't stop. It was good to see the enthusiasm back in the players

Cornes was right to call out the fitness of Yeo if for no other reason that there’s a bunch of Eagles players that look like they have some condition on them.

Yeo, Rioli, Ryan, McGovern, Naitanui, Kelly and a couple of others all have a bit of a roll above the shorts.

Broad range of problems at WCE.

Eagles were pox but it’s not like they were playing their COVID top up side: Witherden, Redden, Shuey, Duggan, Kelly, Hurn, Petrevski Seaton, McGovern, Darling, Cripps, Kennedy, Gaff, Rioli, Ryan, Waterman, Nelson are 16 of their best 22. Strdanica, Dixon, Clark, Naish, West, Edwards may not be best 22. They’re missing Allen, Nicnat, Sheed, Shepherd, Yeo, Barrass missing. We played lots of games last year missing 6 of our best and weren’t as putrid as WC were tonight.

Yep they’ve given up. A rabble. Coach killing effort tonight.

Don't think we can complain about the umpiring tonight.

Issue is we just aren't used to getting free kicks that are there. Thought Eagles got some extremely soft frees, especially in the 2nd half.

Off a 5 day break too, including the flight to WA, good effort
