Just watched a replay. BT and Brayshaw sounded flat even from our first goal.
Brayshaw never stopped asking if that was a free kick to WC.
Not sure channel 7 were that desperate to bring him over from 9.

Pretty hard to garner anything from playing the Witches Hats Eagles last night. They were absolutely deplorable.
Still took alot of joy watching Maurice and Daniel do so well. Lynch could have 10.
Even with such a demolition we still didn't really dominate the clearance numbers. They were even at 3qtr time and that's a huge concern still.
The other one was the disposal efficiency, they were higher than us. Hodgey was right, the better teams suffocate you and we won't be able to replicate this if those two metrics aren't addressed.
I am officially in love with Gibcus. Happy to eat my words as I wasn't happy we chose a defender over a mid but he is just sublime. Currently playing like a hybrid Broad and Grimes mixed together. Excellent kick usually as well.

Disposal efficiency was almost the same 75.1% to 74.6%. Overall that's pretty high based on AFL averages this year. Our contested/uncontested possession ratio was higher too which will have contributed and we have Castagna (only joking ok?).
I know West Coast were awful, but we still beat them by more than 100 on their own deck. Not every side they’ve played has done that to them.
Great feeling waking up this morning after a 100+ point win. And also fantastic to win the free kick count for the first time since the Titanic sunk.
I loved after the game when the players were greeting the supporters.

Worst performance I have seen from an AFL club on there own deck , other JK clunking a few they were putrid . Don’t want to take anything away from our boys , however real hard to get a true indication on that performance, even Norf beat that mob . Hopefully it turns out to be a great training run that gets us up and about

I reckon the last team i saw that bad was Fitzroy in Rd 21 1996.
The writers on these sites are so much better than the ‘journos’ covering the game for the mainstream outlets. It’s got something to do with them writing about the actual game rather than all the controversial crap, most of which is off field.
Basically made it a 6 point game with that percentage boost .

AFL won't mind too much. As long as one team from each of the States is competitive n pushing for finals every year, it'll be fine. Frockers, Brisvegas, Sydaknee all good. Crowbaits n Pordadalayde got a bit of a wobble up at the moment but they've both had finals runs in recent years so no-one will notice or care if they both miss for a year or two.
