Hate the result, hate the umpiring towards us and hate the Cats, but the was a magnificent game of footy. Restored same faith in the game

Moral victory. Fantastic effort after those gutless sniping handbasggers ambushed us and the maggots finished it off. A man down against 25 and we should have won.

We might not lose again this year.
Shades of 2019 you think? I rarely say this but I'm happy claim a moral victory here. Stewart knocking our best player out and then his team kicking a goal when the play should have stopped is enough for that claim. Not too mention 26-13 frees in Geesuck's favour. But unfortunately they don't show moral victories on the ladder.

Despite everything we still should have won from 3 goals up in the last. From that point on we just let Geelong carve us through the corridor 3 times in a row for goals in quick succession. We've got to sort out defending a good lead. Has cost us a minimum of 4 games this year. We should be top 4 but if Scumwood win as they should we'll be 9th.

We will need to win every game if we are to finish top 4 and win a lot of them well. Starting next week; minimum 10 goal win against the Eagles. Be ruthless, no excuses. You will need 16 wins plus a good percentage to make top 4 this year. I can see the 5th team on 16 wins with inferior percentage. We have no margin for error as far as top 4 goes. We can't catch Geelong. 2 games and 9% behind and they have an easy fixture. We won't catch Melbourne either. Think 3rd is the best we can hope for and we still have Freo and Brisbane; in Melbourne thankfully and we can win both. GC on GC won't be as easy as it has been for us in past few years.

I'm *smile* gutted but season starts next week Tigers. Cmon!!!!

The free kick against Lynch turned the game
Was HUGE in hindsight, how many of those do you see NOT paid in an entire game ?... let alone with the game on the Line.

And after a Speccy by Jack also is totally deflating, reckon we would have gone on with it if we goal there.

But, the Ol' coulda, woulda, shoulda is a total biatch.

That ball should have been killed which was marked by Henry. It was two grabs at it and we had two defenders there.

Had to be punched.
Big V Fault.
He is so use to playing loose he forgot the basics of defending. You jump when your opponent jumps.
That's all he had to do. Henry marked it 7 inches off the ground. It shouldve been punched away

The ferret Stengle mightve kissed our season goodbye.
He *smile* all over Murdoch, McCarthy, Dalhouse, Close and Miers.
One of X players bent us over.
Not sure why they had Cameron in the best.
He is just a fken massive receiver

Why was there 50 open like a summer house and our 50 clogged up like a prison quadrangle
Curse you zips!!

I'm seething and pacing and frothing and I'm so angry my urine is boiling....but that prison quadrangle line made me chuckle

Good on Ya Riddles, thats the spirit ....... far from done yet Mate.

Top 4 isnt even that big a deal to me to be honest, Top 8 and go from there would do me just fine, get everyone healthy towards the end of the H&A and go into Finals with a fit 22 is the key.

Our first year players are finding the slugfest mid season games very tough.
If we had the cattle to replace them, I’d rest Gibcus, MRJ, Ralphsmith and Clarke.
All had moments but really contributed very little.
Gibcus in particular looks cooked.
Unfortunately we don’t although I still maintain Stack should be in there somewhere.
We need another good , tough pressure forward.

Up to Stack & Cumberland.

Also another midfielder. Which one wants it??

I didn't see the game.

My biggest bug bear is shitthouse conversion in front of goal, and garbage inside 50's, these really boil my pisss like nothing else.

I'm tipping Tigers missed a few easy ones as we always do and thus made life more difficult for themselves especially after losing our #1 player early again.

Prestia out early in two critical losses round 1 against the Blues and this one.

As others have said, some poor decision making cost us dearly.
But those 3 *smile* cheating sHockings masquerading as umpires should be suspended. They can gagf.
But they are afl employees, it’s not as if they’re fair or independent. They can gagf.

Hardest might be Port at AO. GC at Metricon should be winnable if we don't lairise and we've seen Lions at G are no good and today Freo at Dump no good. 8 games all winnable. The continuous worry for me every week is what happened again today and was expecting last week.....these f*cking flogs!!!

Have a look through the match stats.

Almost every stat is incredibly close.

Until you get to free kicks.

Geelong get DOUBLE

Tell me again what umpires don't impact results. It's why fans are dropping off AFL in droves
