Bingo, now the media brought attention to the fact the MRO is a joke, he needs to respond and show he isn't.

Jones had the right number in the lottery obviously.

My guess is that Christian has received a bullet from Gil and Hocking and I expect we won't see the round 1 outcomes again

Was a bit silly to raise the elbow, had to stretch to do it so it was clearly intentional. Not much in it but you gotta be smarter than that. Must admit I didn't see the elbow when I saw it live.
 
I thought Crimes was stiff, I thought Cox was stiff (& I don't like him) I thought Jones was extremely lucky
 
This is exactly what happened to Jack graham last year and then the following weeks they wound it back to a fine. The major issue with the MRO is exactly that - inconsistency
 
Grub was going for the fencing into the upper arm but Elliott slipped under a bit and Grub miscalculated and raised the arm a tad high and collected him in the head with his forearm not his elbow. Probably about right at 1 week but sucks that gutless prick acts like Jones gets off.

Yeah, it looked like nothing but even Grimes' elbow just 'touched' Elliott's chin not pushed it. I suppose just 'raising' the elbow is enough for this league to fine and not how much impact it hits a player.
 
Grimesy will be a huge loss to the team this coming week.
Backline is starting to take on a different shape to what we have been used to for a while now.

See no reason why the MRO should be consistent, the umps aren't, the AFL aren't, why should the MRO be the odd one out?

He had to cop a week for that! Really dumb and totally useless. We need him so badly at present and that was so undisciplined, although I think it may well have been frustration at both the umpiring and how the mids and small forwards did such a poor job at getting the ball, using it and locking it in our forward half.

Terrible performance put the defence under huge pressure constantly.
