wow, he really came off the back mark didnt he?

stephensen has real wheels.

Grimesy is surely Richmonds greatest ever pre-season/rookie selection?

Yup, gave him a few yards off the start and then even pulled up mid chase! But he has such blistering closing speed when hit the afterburners he scortched him!

Ripping stuff from Optimus.
Was talking to a few of the PRE lads at the game last week about who is actually the quickest at the club, over 50 I reckon it’s Cal Moore, pre hammys Grimes would have taken Silver at the Olympics

Re: Dylan "Clag" Grimes

Grimes was brilliant last night. Loved that hit on Tipungwuti and the way he puts his body on the line to win a contest or spoil. Love Grimes and so glad he is finally getting noticed by the media - he deserves it.

Hope he stays injury free as we really need him if we are going to win another Grand Final. Does anyone know what his injury was? They are saying it is his back but not sure how bad it is. Hope it is okay.

Re: Dylan "Clag" Grimes

He's just like Rance. Knows when to go off his player and impact the contest. He did one of those last night that saved a certain goal. Has always been very underrated by the public imo.

Re: Dylan "Clag" Grimes

It's amazing how underrated this bloke is. The AFL sit didn't even have him in the Tigers best six last night. A few weeks back the Fox commentators ridiculed Johnno for giving him votes and last night the same thing happened to Mooney. Soon the the footy media will open their eyes...

Re: Dylan "Clag" Grimes

Massive game from the Grub again last night. Love the way he plays his footy, modern day version of Bones.

Re: Dylan "Clag" Grimes

Moment of the match Grimesy coming off his man and confronting McDonald-Tipungwuti winning the contest and resulting in goal, sensational closing speed and courage.

Also just the sense to knock the ball to his teammates advantage, whilst taking out tippa

Re: Dylan "Clag" Grimes

Grimey accelerates into a collision like no one on our list bar the skipper. He's a champion. Legit.

Re: Dylan "Clag" Grimes

He’s the one player I’d give next week off, surely the way he plays the body has to be sore this time of year

Re: Dylan "Clag" Grimes

Superstar that just goes about his business week in week out with little fuss or fanfare from the media, i suspect its just the way he likes it.

He's really enjoying his winery and the escape back to the country gives him and his form is showing it.

A lot of our boys seem to have a real nice balance between the rigors of AFL and lifestyle, kudos to the club for encouraging it and allowing players to focus on stuff outside of football.
