If Stewart tvouy or Jetta get chosen ahead of Grimes the blokes on the AA committee (blockhead Jakovich, dumbshit Frawley, doofus Darcy etc) need to be replaced.

Lol at the way he owned Hampton. After getting Betts in every game for the last few years he must have had a chuckle to himself when Hampton was lining up on him

IMHO is one of the best defenders in the game now and just about the most underrated footballer in the AFL.

Should be a definite AA but won’t be.

Totally agree. They are all talking up Johnny Come Latelys like Tom Stewart, James Sicily and Neville Jetta. What a joke. Grimes is better than all of them and has been doing it for longer.

It shows how much the "experts" really know when they don't even mention him in AA discussions.

Should be in AA contention. He's nullifies some of the best & biggest name forwards in the competition every week. Isn't that what a defender is supposed to do?

Was he on Hampton all night? He absolutely destroyed the guy.

Annihilated him. Not sure what's happened to Hampton. Looked great early in his career at the Giants in the backline. Played forward but looked slow and uninterested against the Tigers. Out of contract this year, that performance likely nailed his coffin.

That was my reaction. Either give it to a vote of twenty or thirty journos to Negate the morons or find a panel of non media types like test selectors.

Spud and co are too busy "commentating" to know who are the most deserving AA players.

Hampton played his last game of AFL tonight. They won't pick him again and then delist him latter in the year.
He was jogging around all game like he was p!ssed

Spewing Collingwood didn't get him. When they chased him a couple of years ago.
He would've settled in nicely at the Westpac centre with all the other duds like greenwood, Aish, Varcoe, wells, Mayne, Murray, Crisp, Howe and Adams.
90% of their team are recycled duds

Just a shoutout to Dylan, what a jet. Starting 3-4m back to pass Broad and run down the speedster Stephenson at full tilt on the half forward flank was a mighty effort that likely saved a goal.

Stephenson didn't get 2 metres yesterday, it was the first time this year he looked a first year player.
As far as Grimes, the bloke is a gun and should be AA.

In his prime at the moment. Probably doesn't have a big enough attacking game to attract the AA selectors. Deserves it though, no one in the game can play on talls and smalls like him and win as many contests.

Grimes gets the most dangerous small each week. Last time he had his colours lowered was Fantasia last year wasn't it? Even then he got back into the game after a bad first half.
