Just a shoutout to Dylan, what a jet. Starting 3-4m back to pass Broad and run down the speedster Stephenson at full tilt on the half forward flank was a mighty effort that likely saved a goal.

Stephenson didn't get 2 metres yesterday, it was the first time this year he looked a first year player.
As far as Grimes, the bloke is a gun and should be AA.

Couldn't agree more. Grimes chase was my 2nd favourite moment of the game. (Higgins goal aside).

Best part was he didn’t ping a hammy in the chase. Was nervous watching him.

It put Stephenson in his box after that moment.
Stephenson has burnt players off all season, it was one of the very few times he had someone so close.

Was that the chase David King highlighted last night? If so he got Grimes confused with Grigg. Or did Grigg do a chase down the HFF as well?

Yep he was highlighting grigg running back from the centre to cover for the backs then took the mark in the pocket after stephenson kicked under pressure from grimes.

I wouldn't mind seeing Grimes rewarded with AA this year because he is the best HB in the game.
Hurn on one side with grimes on the other with Astbury in the middle..

Grimesy is surely Richmonds greatest ever pre-season/rookie selection?
