Opposition supporters are starting to talk about Grimes being a good player.

Slowly he's getting noticed. Maybe he'll soon get the respect he deserves as a backman.

Rarely beaten. Just so dependable, selfless, tough and courageous. Has always been one of my favourites and it used to kill me when he was going through his injury patch because I always sensed he could turn into what he has become. A real key to our side.

Just another scalp for the best in the business, rarely loses a contest let alone get beat on the day. Best stopper in the game.

Jon Ralph said this as well but if that’s true then he isn’t very good at it. He averages less than one free a game for his career.

Grimes, Vlastuin and Astbury are all potential AA this year

Yep. Mega happy for the Grub, now that he's finally got his body right. Modern version of the old school back pocket plumber, got a seriously healthy nasty streak to his game.

Bloody good player. So dependable. Tough. Fearless.

If you look at the threads most are / or close too, about our back 6. Just a great unit and mix.

Feel for the reserve players trying to break into the side.


Best back 6 to learn your craft.

Best in the business.

100% agree nmw, he's just so dependable & you can tell he HATES being beaten. I love the way he plays.
