It's a great track. Station to station his best album.

it is a fantastic track. Tough call on the album, Hunky Dory and Lets Dance are pretty bloody good.

Let's dance? Nah that hasn't aged well.

80s are back ant, get with it. Actually they have been back for ages so maybe they're on the way out again and you're cutting edge.

China girl, Lets Dance, great tracks. Grimesy is a big fan I hear.

Antman strikes me as more of a Supertramp man :hihi

Let's dance is a guilty pleasure.

Front loaded with three of the best singles this side of ashes to ashes.

Dreamer played loud is a killer tack, ripper, incredible arrangements, not much of a fan apart from that.

Supertramp, eww. Gross man. Besides, they were dead in the 80s.

Putting Out Fire was the best track on Let's Dance, excellent Stevie Ray Vaughan guitar. The other singles were OK but most of the album was filler. Bowie peaked early to mid seventies.

The early to mid 80s for me was The Clash, Buzzcocks, New Order, Pixies, Talking Heads, Killing Joke, punk and post-punk mostly. The New Romantic thing was an interesting sideshow of course.

btw - China Girl was co-written by Iggy Pop, its on his 1977 LP 'The Idiot', which i think Bowie produced?
Iggy turned 70 last week ! how'd he make it?

anyway - Grimes should get Betts this week.

In Billy Joel's words....it's the "Next phase, new wave, dance craze, anyways, It's still rock and roll to me"

The Berlin period was astounding, but I prefer his thin white duke persona. Young Americans and station to station are spectacular albums.

Bowie always relevant.

His song I'm Afraid of Americans coming 20 years after Young Americans, Wasn't a massive hit, but I reckn it's great.
