Where's this bloke's thread? Page 7!

Just a good, hard, tough, versatile defender.
Yep, see the knee in the kidneys he took from Buddy. Ball cam in on his head and he knew it was coming and he did not job it.

The match winning play - Deledio - Grimes - Vlastuin - Riewoldt - Griifiths - Lloyd. We don't win without any of these players and their extraordinary effort in the last 30 seconds. Our performance in the last quarter tonight erases the horror of the Collingwood last 7 minutes. Well done Tiges! Some major faith restored. Deledio and Rance champions.

We've been haemorrhaging with him and Rance out and none of these buffoons in the media have even mentioned him.

It's all about the backline with the Tigers.

I just wish we had a full compliment of backline players to choose from. We haven't had a settled backline all year. We've really missed Rance and Grimes, we just need one more tall back. They tried to phase Chaplin out, but they've had to go back to him because Astbury can't cut the mustard. Now we get Grimes and Rance back and we lose Houli and KMac.

Get Hurley and sort Yarran out!

When you win games like this you are lucky but you are not lucky.

Jack was huge in decision making last quarter and big Griff stood up.

I think flossy needs to play mid. His composure at stoppages was great.

Grimes sorely missed.

Lloyd very underrated and highly skilled.

Lids basically reason we stayed in the game with that first half.

The ARtful dodger makes a BIG difference down back. Not far behind rancelot i dont reckon

Great game by Grimes, Parker still got a bit of it but wasn't anywhere near as effective as usual. Probably deserving of votes.

Was on Heeney for a lot of the game too and did well on him. Loved the tackle when he almost decapitated Heeney. Best tackle of the night.

Ah OK. They used Parker forward quite a bit and he was opposed to Grimes in several contests as well.

They seemed to have Parker and Heeney forward at times. When Parker was in the middle I think Grimes was on Heeney and when they were both there I think Batch went to Heeney and Grimes to Parker. He was good on both, certainly didn;t look like he'd missed 5 weeks of footy.

He is important because he doesn't panic unlike a lot of others who find themselves in the backline.

If only his body could hold up

Always been one of my favourites and tonight he showed why. Reliable by both hand and foot and super composed and very quick.

He is such an underrated defender and is everything i hoped Will Thursfield would turn out to be. Just need to keep him on the park.

Yeah wouldn't Hurley be an upgrade on Chaplin.... He can actually be swung forward too if required.
