Dylan Grimes JDM

when did he last have issues with the hammy? been pretty consistent for a couple of seasons now i would have thought. Not quite ready to throw him in the discard pile just yet, and will hold out hope that he can make it back this year.

Just hope dimmas assessment of 2 - 3 weeks is accurate.

Yep, was fit for all/most of last season as I recall.

Yeah, I wouldn't delist him but it's surely a concern that yet again he's injured in a non combative fashion or simply just running.

Maybe it would define Castagna's career? Can we take some risks instead of trotting out the same failed personnel year after year.

absolutely agree...whats the point of morris or hunt?..enough is enough is enough...

I'd delist him, there is absolutely NO point in having a player out of action because
either of his hamstrings packs up regularly during the season.

Thought it was back of knee, not a hamstring?

Don't let fact get in the way of a good rant!

Looking forward to GC delisting O'Meara?

Dylan hasn't had a hamstring injury since 2012 I think. Missed games in 2013 due to a foot issue. Has play 18 or 19 games in each of 2014 and 2015.

Is that why he was iced on the bench for a hamstring injury, and why it went on him when he tried to accelerate just like a hamstring does. I sincerely hope this injury has nothing to do with his previous history, he is one of my favourite players. Im despondent about it because I think he is so important to us. Sure looked like a hammy to me though. I hope it's not club spin and he is right to go in round 4. The thing to me was that I can't really remember him trying to speed away from someone with a burst of pace since he got over his earlier bad luck with his hammy's. and I was thinking, great well done...then oh sh!te he's done it again.

Even if it is a hammy blu it certainly appeared minor due the fact that he was still doing sprints along the boundary. Nothing to suggest it is chronic.

Harry Fas most probably would have kicked more than six if Dylan was still on the field with his man bag. Dylan is a DUD just like Conca & a few others Dimma pencils in each week.

When do you reckon was the last time anybody kicked six against Richmond?

I know you're a subtle troll but you've outed yourself labelling Grimes a soft dud.

He had the ice on the lower part of his hamstring, very close to the knee where the tendon would connect the hamstring through the joint.

The guy is done. Finished.

Promising player a couple of years ago but injuries have destroyed any momentum and development. Time to move on. See if anyone is stupid enough to trade for him.

Brillant defender cut down by injury constantly.
I heard in Latvia you can get entire leg transplants
Any chance?

Don't want to overstate things but he is a big piece of our puzzle. We are much better down back with him and floss appreciates him around to provide some dash

Took his body on and lost. Applied the afterburners that he needs to be the very good player he is. Result? TBC.
He's our 21C Eric Leech sadly.

Did well first game back after a lay off. No nonsense tonight and did some decisive things during the course of the match.
