Dustin Martin

Bit different for us rusty old fans, but if Dusty doesn't like the new coach much, and / or the Tiges have another crap season while Mold Coast elevate into finals. He'd be crazy not to seriously consider having one last crack at another flag / finals run to finish off his career. Footballers are professional paid employees these days and they get the *smile* hammered out of their bodies while performing their jobs. No reason at all to hang around at a crap performing club with perhaps a coach you don't like, fading into mediocrity when all your long term mates have already gone.
He'll always be a legend at Tigerland and a legend of the AFL competition one day, could only enhance the reputation if he was to perform even just a cameo role in elevating a start up club to their first ever flag at the end of his career.
We've already had easily the best of Dusty for a long time n he's given us a hell of a lot of straight up enjoyment, not in the slightest bit bothered if someone else got a little bit of Dustyness at the end of his career.

Which one of the many Big Refuters are you referring to ?
The original and the best! TBR. The umpires masseuse. Total Body Rub. The rest were mere impersonators. Frauds.

He knew people if you didn't know! Important people. Or so he said. But he had no time for Steve Waugh or KB. Good judge.

What you are forgetting is his father was a loyal club man and so is Dusty, why would he want to leave? for money? nah his friends are in Melb and why would he leave all of them as well as playing in front of f/all people. My guess is he will be a one club player like cotch and jack and we will send him off in grand style just like them when the time comes.

Right you are, TM. It's not just the departure of Hardwick but the arrival of Yze that might motivate a Martin move.

Don’t forget Razor Ray, who ended up in the bad books for ‘champing’ the great one.

Yze may also reignite the flame in Dusty.

I’ve been told by someone very high up in the club ( not TBR ) that Dusty is absolutely obsessed about his longevity in the game.
Doing everything he can to play as long as possible.
Just not sure for who.
