Sad to report that one of the GC’s new assistant coaches is very confident that the great man will be packing his bags and heading to Metricon in 2025.
Yes, I heard this a couple of weeks ago which is why i changed my mind after being confident he would see out his career at Richmond.
At the very least I think we can say that it is probably his choice. He may well have gone this year if he wasn’t playing his 300th in 2024.

His best mates at the club have all been one club players. I’ll believe him going to to the Goldie when I see him in one of those putrid red polos.

Anyway if this is the last season for the Goat as a Tiger then I’m going to sit back & savour every moment of the best player I’ve seen play for our club in my lifetime.

A lot can happen between now and a year's time. From what I hear he will remain at Punt Road and the club will look to extend his contract but things can change obviously.
Dusty doesn't like change. Has been at Richmond for 15 years and knows everybody. At GC he would know like 2-3 people.
Big-time player can't see him playing in front of 10-15K crowds. He will thrive under Yze.

Geez. The more media Cotch does the more what should be private or in-house discussions get aired publicly.
All the above does is increase the media speculation on Dusty for the upcoming last season of his contract.
Unhelpful much?
If you're as close a mate as you keep saying you are, maybe stop the public over-sharing?

Exactly. An absolute shipload can happen.

I can see a set of circumstances where he'd go, but I can see more sets of circumstances where he'd stay.

Unfortunately for the journos flogging this is that if he does go it becomes less controversial the older he gets.

Yep rumors swirling dusty to remain at tigerland according to over 57 independent sources probably doesn’t sell.
