I would suspect the Norf bid might be 7 x $1.5 M but given the huge slack they have be massively front loaded. They have to have slack down the track for future signings. If this is correct the next season may well be closer to $2M

Given contracts appear to mean bugger all now days I'd be very wary of massively front ending any contracts.

Headline 687 for the hearld sun
"Tigers game changing war chest if dusty goes"

They mention will be in a very strong position to chase lynch from GC *** pity lynch should've been in yellow and black already...
And we will have picks 15-16-17 in this year's draft

we are being conditioned , the club is doing the same with the get set for September emails , no dusty images

Might be wrong, but I reckon it's already done n Dustied, just the paper work to sign at Norf Smelbourne.

Got a feeling that no announcement will be made till after the finals series, not just the home n away. Reckon Dusty plays his proverbials off as deep into the finals as we can go n then it's sayonara n thanks for the memories, Hello Norf Smelbourne n many many shekels.
If the offer is 1.5 mill for seven years it's overs for our list management requirements n the club will let him walk.

I get that feeling also. If that's is the case I'll be hoping he gets his 3rd strike and North have to pay $1.5 to sit on the sidelines. If not I can't wait to boo the prick when he runs out for LOL North.

Paul Conners manager of Josh Kelly just said that he will always prefer his clients to stay at one club.
This is the same bloke that helped Judd go to Carlton, dangerfield to Geelong and Jason Torney to Adelaide

lol :)

I hope the club doesn't blink and they stick to what they said is there final offer(if they have said that)
If that offer is $1.2 million, well, that is huge money. The club has to be able retain players and recruit quality needs based players.

Yep, agree.

Dusty's life after football. Well he has 7 years of football ahead of him he can be learn a lot or get a tertiary education that the clubs help them all(guide them).

Being part of a club presentation night twice. Once I spoke in length to Hartigan, really top guy, was happy to talk about anything. His studies were in marine biology. club was encouraging all players to do something

Also another at the Dogs when Eade was there, there is a lot footballers have to learn. Eade even said there are huge talents lost purely on the players ability not been able to learn game plans. They get spat out and back to country football. Maybe there is a mentor/teaching role there for Dusty as life after footy. Part of his retirement 'as such' maybe 2 years being paid to assist in development of the youth being drafted but being slowly molded to run the role or even have a job in merchandising at the club and running his own label via the club. Club make some coin too. a win/win

I'm just thinking outside the square to what else the club can offer. I agree with most 1.2mill is a lot of coin. Hope the club stick to their guns and don't pay more. It will hamper future recruitment & retention of players

Spoke on TM and Tigerman.

If nothing is announced prior to commencing our final series then he will announce after we are done that he is going to North.

I doubt if that happens that I can be invested in any player again.

This will change my love of the game and my view on Dusty.

For now I hope he gives us everything he can for our finals campaign and the rest is now out of our hands.

If Dusty does go to North then good luck explaining your reasons for wanting too other than money. North are trying to rebuild and Martin wants to play in winning sides and North aren't going that way yet..

The excuse the Merkin has trotted out all year for not signing until the end of the season is that they want to see how the Tigers go this year as Dusty wants to play in finals.

Then we find out he is looking at LOL North who are going to get the Wooden Spoon. What a stuffen hypocrite!!! Its been about $$$ all along.

LOL Judas Merkin.

Doesnt a player have the final say as to where he plays? A manager would be just working under what the player instructs them to do.
After all Dusty or Shai can always change managers if the really didnt get along with the Merkin

Reported on 7news we will not be able to match Norffs offer so if its all about the $$$ :wave :wave :wave Du$ty
