Has he got a Judas tattoo also?

If Dusty leaves I'd seriously consider Rockliff as a free agent, similar type in the role he plays, obviously nowhere near as good, however wouldn't change our structure much, then take the 3 picks to the draft.

There goes our first round compo though CC.

Like the rest of you, I have spent a lot of time worrying about whether Dusty will leave us. But now I am thinking that just maybe we have all been jumping at shadows and that the club has had control of this all along and we will get the news we want VERY soon. There has been no OFFICIAL statements from the Dusty camp, the club or his Dad. The club has been in cons
tant contact with Dusty's manager and his Dad and no-one is talking. I now think (hope) that it will all just happen and we will say - "Why did we get so worried"? Am I just an old fool who always looks at the glass half full?

You can't just cold-call someone like Rockliff during trade week and expect him to seriously entertain your offer. It takes many months of work to get that kind of deal over the line.

Yet another example of how Carr is screwing the RFC over with this Martin deal. If he goes we lose arguably the best player in the league for a lousy end of first round pick and no serious chance to replace him with a decent player for 12 months.

Stay and it will probably be for way overs on a ridiculous length contract which prevent the club from bringing in any additional talent and mabe even causing others to walk for better deals elsewhere.

Not stressed at all about this. Strongly believe he will stay. No use buying into the media speculation and losing sleep over it.

Disagree TF, plenty of deals are started a year out, however many are done late in trade week, I.e McEvoy

I reckon he is gone

Made his decision in the week of the Geelong game when North upped their offer and we didn't budge.

X2 articles in the last 2 days. 1 talking about a war chest to chase Lynch and the Age one today saying we made our best offer is the clubs PR department trying to soften the blow to the supporters.

Just want North no miss out on Kelly and Martin - end up with Motlop and Casbolt.... there go spend you $1.5 on those two !!!
Thats what North Melscum deserve

He is staying, was always staying.

Whilst the Merkin is new to AFL his management style has been going on in other sports for many a year.

Unfortunately if it is successful and it is, we will see a lot more of it from other similar types.

why is it Carr screwing us over? I am pretty sure Dusty can easily say respect your position Carr but i am now happy and will sign. It Dusty call and he is beginning to hold the club to ransom. THis could have easily have been bedded away. Dusty could also have come out and said i see my future at this club. We all like to blame Carr or his Dad but Dusty unfortunately has a huge choice in how this plays out.

Well said :clap :clap

Like I said in another post. If he leaves for another club (whether that be North, Syd, Haw, St.K, Ess). RFC should be watching that club's list very closely to pounce on any future stars they have when salary cap pressures begin to bite. Shaft them royally.

how many media can we scramble to Punt Road if we call a (fake) news conference - Tiger to make major announcement at 2:30pm. today LOL .. Every half accredited journo will want a scoop and be there. Also will show how much trolling on these boards they are doing.

Open up a new thread - Major Tiger announcement at Punt Road at 2:30 and lets see how many pick it up ;D

Whats one more media beat up. Just another fictional chapter to add to the heap of crap that's been reported.
