North lost 12% of their member this year. Their irrelevancy is quickly placing them in a precarious position.
As a membership drive headline act, Dusty is pretty compelling. The money they pay overs for him, is probably the best money they could spend.
The AFL would be happy because they have their own sanctioned irrelevancies to contend with, and the less money they have to give North, the more money that can be given to the franchises.
With the extra money, North could possibly afford a wheelchair for that one legged supporter.

All year I have been expecting him to stay. I actually expected it to be announced before seasons end because these things usually are.
I am now over it and annoyed at the situation. There are others involved, other players waiting to be signed. This is bordering on disrespecting the club that has supported him from day 1.

If Dusty goes to the Kangas then he will never taste success with them because they have finally well and truly bottomed out.
But is Scott going to the Gold Coast and is that where Dusty is looking at going?
I dont think it would bode well for Dusty on the Gold COast there he would be surrounded by every bad distraction you could think of and he would be courted left right and centre.
