As questionable as Nixon is a few days back he suggested Martin was just waiting for an extra year. Also calls Ralph Carr a friend.
Reported deal 7 years.

Yeah the word now is sources close to Dustin Martin are urging that a deal with @Richmond_FC is not imminent.

I'll start the popcorn.
 
Tony Sheehan also reporting 7 year deal and can increase in current deal on twitter. Fingers crossed
 
As much as I love Dusty and I understand he needs to get the best deal he can, I hope he doesn't hold the club to ransom and understands that if he gets all the money, how can we improve the team and afford to shop for upgrades. I think about the Cats and Hawks and how their players took less so they could go after the type of players they needed to make them great. By putting all of our eggs in one basket that makes it that much more difficult.

He is a star though and it would be tragic to lose him.

Anyone else get a text from the club stating Dusty has re-signed with Richmond for 7 years?
 
So about 100k more a year than Fyfe. Seems about right if not slightly paying under for Dusty
