Maybe the hold up was that the Merkin has been too busy helping out Neymar Jnr with his transfer from Barcelona FC to Paris St Germaine for the tidy little sum of $200 million + !!!!!!!

Could always talk about the Brownlow.

Should he win it and Dangerfield decides he doesn't want to be there, how good would it be to see Cotch hang the medal around his neck? He and Mitchell missed out on doing this, so would be a nice touch

Very well could be. All things being equal I expect him to be able to play at or near this level for another 2 to 3 years before starting to decline.

I'd be disappointed if he left but at the same time I don't know that paying $1.2 million plus a season for Dusty post 30 years of age will be value for money either.

Whatever he decides I'm going to view it as a positive for the RFC.

Not saying you are lying, but why would they put a massive offer in front of Dusty but don't seem to be able to do the same to keep Josh Kelly. Makes no sense whatsoever.

If the deal is about to be announced there's no way its to leave the Tigers, not just before a finals campaign.
 
If a deal is to be announced it won't be to move to another club, it would pull rug right out under the players and club.
Just as they have a shot at finals.

So GWS are going all out, meh thanks we will have Kelly thanks.

Thats exactly the deal I was expecting. $8,4m deal makes Dusty a very rich man.
