Rumour is he hasn't been turning up to Swan Districts training sessions according to a poster on Twitter.

Can't imagine he played on the weekend. Watched the game, and didn't even think to see if he was playing.

looks like he has got the message...hopefully he turns it around

I still would be keeping very close tabs on tis boy.

He is everything we lack on the ground.

And everything nobody wants off the ground.
Hopefully the kid has found his way past the teenage idiot stage and can settle into fulfilling his obvious sporting talent.
Seeing him in his state jumper just highlights how good he looks in " yellow n black "
Nose to the ground n arse to the breeze, plenty of hard work may still see him strut his stuff at AFL level.

Agree Scoop, sort the head out and he becomes an ideal line breaker who has a strong inside game. I really hope he makes it, a definite top ten talent who's fallen by the wayside.

I'm sure Dayle has matured and learnt his lesson in a few short weeks........

I doubt he has but he's still a raw teenager, he could well become one of the myriad of state leaguers who take a few extra years to mature.

That may be more likely bully but I hate these type of articles that make it sound like a player has "matured" in a few weeks a la our own Dan Connors.

Yeah, very true, I think the media thinks there's some mileage in the bad boy turned good stories, but they won't hesitate to crucify him if he has even the slightest slip up.

We have been very quick to defend anyone in a Richmond jumper who has slightly transgressed over time.

This boy has immaturity issues and comes from a underprivileged background.

I just hope he gets it together for his sake. Has talent on talent. Has rare talent, Cyril talent.

I would take a rookie flyer on him for sure. Would have this year.

Well put, people forget or don't understand what doors get opened for a young star at a footy club( tac bit different) . Be very interesting if he pulls the digit out an impresses a few clubs to what sought of pick he go's . Btw does anyone know the Lewis Jetta story on why he was drafted older ?

Here ya go, Mr Chips:

Jetta played his junior football with Carey Park Junior Football Club, a Bunbury side in the South West Football League (SWFL), before playing for Western Australian Football League (WAFL) club Swan Districts and was a part of the colts premiership in 2007.

Lewis was overlooked in the 2007 AFL Draft and decided to return to his hometown Bunbury to play for Bridgetown Football Club in the Lower South West Football League. After one season with Bridgetown Lewis returned to Swan Districts to play senior football in 2009.
AFL career

Jetta was drafted by Sydney with the 14th selection in the 2009 AFL Draft, which had been traded from Collingwood in exchange for Darren Jolly.

Just played "Hey you bloody mug." I'd forgotten about it.
