David Astbury, Thank You

Same here. Doc Larkins says dislocated patella = 6 - 8 weeks, so hopefully he comes back through the 2nds and into next pre-season.

That sounds better then a knee op.
Good luck to the kid.

We need him back

Bad luck for the lad. He really has had a breakout season.

Hopefully it's not too bad an injury.

Absolutely heartbreaking for Swooper. Had a brilliant season thus far.

Perhaps this means Chaplin may have to find a man to play on.

That's at a real club, for us it's a retirement injury.
You won't see him again this, especially if it's the same knee he screwed up against Sydney 3 years ago

Unfortunately with Astbury injured, Chaplain will be gifted games...

Actually...I would prefer we promote Darrou to take Chaplain's place.

Chaplain has had a deplorable year and needs to find form via the VFL.

Chaplain did get $250 millon in the latest federal budget though, must keep.

You do realise you're on the Dave Astbury thread. That quote is embarrassing .
Embarrassing indeed! Thought it was the Chaplin thread!

Same injury as last time but on his 'good' knee. Dislocated kneecap with apparent ligament damage is the initial diagnosis. Bloody sucks.

Poor bloke. Was enjoying watching him play with confidence.
