He is such a great clubman. Would hate to see him leave but if it is for the betterment of the team then so be it.
 
Hes too slow.

People talk about his 10 game stretch last year as if he was Steve Silvagni. Blown way out of proportion.

If he goes so be it.

We need a Chaplin replacement of that I have no doubt. But he aint it.

Chaplin turned the elimination final, now costs us Astbury. Better pull a blinder out this year coming.

I reckon Chappy needs a role change. We need Elton to come in to play FB on the big boys and Chappy to do what he does best, intercept mark and point.

Batchelor becomes depth, Grimes plays small and Griff to become backline depth.

Definitely looks like Elton (and Beano) will be the huge project over pre-season as regular 1sts next year.

Agree with all that.
 
Dave appears gone. Wish him all the best. Poor bugger has had a wretched run with injuries. So hope he has a decent run in the future. Hell, he kicked 3 goals in his first game if I remember rightly. Speed is a negative but.... If he could get on the park regularly I would prefer him to Chappy who spends too much time pointing the finger at teammates and guarding a patch of grass.

But if he nets us pick 17 we can not refuse that no matter how much he is liked.
 
Not happy about losing a key defender like Dave because if Chappy or Rance goes down the only tall we have as a replacement would be Elton and he is a long way off. Dave is down on confidence and needs s gee up to get back to form. Then again if Dave does move then maybe Dimma could retread Griff as a defender because he is not cracking it as a forward.
