Deserved another game down back where he was a shining light lastbyear for 10 weeks. Been all forgotten by looks of it

Im playing a bit of devils advocate. Never been a huge fan, but thought he earnt some credits last year. Other blokes seem to get heaps chances

I think injuries are catching up to him. Another serious injury after that good run of form last year.

He looks slower and he wasn't quick to begin with.

Did anyone who is advocating him playing this week actually see the game last week.

If Beanie put that performance in on Sunday he'd be marked never to play again.

Was woeful. Looked like he was on an ice rink.

The effort on the wing last week where he went to go up for the mark, and then somehow just fell down in front of the pack was enough to be dropped.

Have never been a massive supporter, but thought he was coming to hand ok early last year. Needs footy. In the twos. For now.

Is he out of contract at the end of the year?
If so, won't surprise me if he ends up elsewhere.

I think over-exaggerating but Beanie's being groomed for a forward role. Much of Astbury's development at the Tigers has been as a backman so it's difficult to just transition there in one game. Even Morris was given a pre-season and 3 games before canning the idea. Saying that, I do prefer to see us try Beanie ahead of Astbury in the forward line, just didn't see the point trialling Astbury for one game. May as well had McBean in last week.
