David Astbury, Thank You

Bit tough. First game forward and griffiths went down stuffing up structures. Need to persevere a bit longer.

Spent all off season with the defenders, spent last season with the defenders, spend the season before with the defenders...

Injury has gotten the better of him.
History shows most players struggle the year after a knee injury.
2016 might be a better year for him.

Maybe, but after a bad loss it's normal to focus on players who let the team down. Astbury contributed almost nothing.

Not for me.

Too slow, not strong over head. Weak upper body.

Trade bait. Third rounder will do.

Has lost all confidence. Seems all at sea on the forward line. Obviously he is not disinterested, but it sure looked that way today, especially considering it was at a time when we had lost Grif to injury.

He was good down back last year. One bad qtr against a gun like Hawkins and its career over?

Stick him down back and bring in MCBean. Drop Chaplin first. And least Asbury will lock down.

I was hoping that playing forward might be an option, but I think you're right se7en. I don't even think 2016 will be much better. Too many inujuries on top of each other. It's taken away whatever promise Grimes showed as well.

Doubt you would get a third rounder

Astbury would be, at best, drafted as a rookie by any other club.
Might have something more to often, but can't see him ever being a significant player on the list.

His game today was possibly the worst leysy has seen in a Tiger jumper. Went to ground easier than a Thai hooker.

But Leysy will give him the years grace before calling time.

That doesn't excuse the coaching staff for moving a completely out of form back who has showed little as a forward to the forward line ahead of guys in the two's who are playing well.

Reap what you sow.
