Am i the only one who finds it hard to care these days about one day matches apart from the World Cup..

Was slighlty disappointed tonight but over it very quickly..

yep, cricket these days is boring. Used to eagerly anticipate every summer but now its so saturated its a joke.

Australia are way too good which isnt a bad thing at all, the crappy thing is, THEY KNOW IT and they carry on like they ARE cricket.

This whole business of rotating players is the height of disrespect. Inebriated fans shouting no-ball everytime murali steps up, whats with that crap?

Gentlemans game, yeah right!

me = 1 lost fan :-\

love the tests though ;D

Re: Cricket

Well, what a game. I enjoyed watching Dilshan's celebrations, great work.

Too many interesting running between wicket decisions, it will make for an interesting series instead of a white wash by the Aussies.

Can Sri Lanka do it again? Can the Aussies bowl a team out (they can't seem to do it very well lately)?
Who takes it? Who reigns supreme?

Oh no, just realised, I am going to miss the Iron Chef tonight! Dang!

Well it looks like they just might. Australia 2/2. Woeful opening. :'(

Martyn thinks he's done his job after hitting 2 nice 4's.
So he plays a pathetic shot like that...

Don't get me started on the Martyn subject interested  Surely he cant be in our plans for the World Cup ::)

Re: Cricket

Ponting just given not out after a catch at square. What irks me is Tony Greig said its categorically out - what a wanker. Watch the replay Tony. Maybe its time for you to go quietly back to England and retire finally. Your a tired commentator and to call it like that was a absolute joke even after you saw the replay.

My thoughts exactly, Tuby... what a *smile*ing disgrace that Tony Greig is... I would have liked Mark Nicholas in the commentary box... unbiased and etc.

Spewing on the Sri LAnkan who took the catch... bloody cheat!

Re: Cricket

What a fantastic effort so far by Punter and Roy - Aussies were 3/10 now 3/220 off 38 overs. Well done fellas, great effort. :clap :clap

Re: Cricket

Punter out for 124 off 116 - bloody top effort mate. Even i found myself clapping him off the ground..... :hihi :hihi Aussies4/250 off 41.

Massive score by the Aussies. Truly demoralising for that chucker, Murali... I was really hoping for figures of 0/100...fell a few meters short.

He didn't look happy when he took his cap did he? :rofl

Re: Cricket

Sorry if sound self indulgent but it was our cricket club 100 year celebration this weekend, which was an absolute ripper. Had our team of the century announced and my dad and granddad were named in it as the opening bowlers of the team. The opening batsman were also father and son.

Re: Cricket

Back from the match and the post match celebrations.....that was an absolute ripper ;D !!!

Quite unrelated, but slightly relevent... Richmond Premier Cricket Club won their Twenty 20 match against Fitzroy Doncaster!

:clap

Re: Cricket

Good performance by Aussies to level series.Still big concerns with Kattich & Martin & the bowling still looks thin. When will the selectors wake up & put Jacques in ahead of Kattich.
