Re: Cricket

should be an interesting second day tomorrow as Sri Lanka try to close in on Australia's sporting declartion.

Just why did Atapattu bat at number 7, good to see a captain lead by example.

Re: Cricket

Tony Greg drives me nuts. I can't listen to him when Sth Africa are playing. He's worse than Eddie.

Re: Cricket

We were all out for 119 today, Terang 0/265
Does not do our premiership chances any good.
Not even 1 wicket?

Not even 1 mb and we are 2nd on ladder!!!
As bad as the day we were all out for 7 in a junior final.

Pitch good one for the bowlers at the Gabba. Good to see I reckon Batsman cant always have it their way.

Marto's shot selection bit ordinary. Charging Pollock at 2/29 in 8th over must have thought it was 20/20.

His careers finished. Very careless shot played by a guy who seemingly doesn't care anymore.

Thats what it looked like, stern words should be said

Good to hear Slat's voice inject some life into the Nine commentary team :clap.

They had to steal him from ABC radio.
That's unfortunate for the ABC as Slats is a good radio commentator, but it's a win for viewers.
Perhaps now that K.Packer is no longer with us, Nine's cricket producers see it as an opportune time to shuffle out some of the crusty old guard(Lawry & Chappell particularly) and reinvigorate the calling with some new talent? Certainly hope so.

Re: Cricket

Smith out to McGrath again for 12
Dipenaar hits between Clarke and Symonds, Symonds throw down stumps looking at one stump.
Kallis run out for 0.

Still struggling
