Yes he did. Jig a jig's still having surgery to remove the plums from his throat again. Commentators were suggesting he had double padding down there for this game.Drop Cummins, he didn't fire a shot in the second innings

Yep, might be something in that. He was going great until the plums got shaken up and crushed a bit again. Not willing to get forward enough perhaps.Yes he did. Yep.Yes I posted about how so many of the modern batsmen are not that good. Sure this was a greenish wicket that seamed more by the day and even increased in pace. However, I wonder if so much short-form cricket has led to poorer and poorer techniques so that they just can't handle challenging conditions far removed from virtually flat tracks. Few batters who can really tough it out these days. So many can't even defend their off-stump. Two bowled not playing a shot - Green in T1 and Leach T3.
I used to enjoy going to the BD test on the 3rd or 4th day, but wouldn't risk the $$ for pre-tickets these days.
Don’t follow Vaughan on Twitter so I can’t comment on his tweets and I can’t say I’ve heard him say anything in commentary but we get limited exposure to him.I could accept that view if we were just talking about the accusations made by players he said racist things to, but there's no accusations about the racist tweets he made or the racist comments he made while calling games.
The bloke in front was a saintIs that better CC? What's that ring or halo on the bottom right?

All good judges knew he was a wise selection.Boland amazing, but England pathetic.
Yes those comments were not good I agree. I have made jokes in my younger days that I definitely regret and to be honest shudder over, probably as many of us have. He's made a couple of racist tweets over the years, pretty much your stock standard racist go-tos, about immigration and Muslims.
Also told the hilarious anecdote on-air about how the Yorkshire lads called Pujara 'Steve' because they couldn't pronounce his first name.
Of course he has a rock solid alibi for that. "Times have changed". Glad we are out of the dark old day of 2018.

Maybe it's a good thing he was here. Must have hurt him to watch one of those spear chucking darkies rip the heart out of his team.
It's difficult to imagine many cricket clubs and players not having some racist overtones in the past. How many local clubs have had many non-white players in the past? Ignorance of what casual racism is is half the problem. My local side now has about 5 guys of Indian background in the team. Not in the previous 5 decades were there any Indian guys. Curry munchers, elephant washers are what a lot of the older generation called them. When you're a young guy at a club you look to older guys for cultural leadership. Ignorance of the impacts of words is an issue. Change is happening in many clubs in our comp, but its slow. The more awareness and less judgement the better. Some seem to have never transgressed.Yes those comments were not good I agree. I like to see people learn from their mistakes, own them and make sure they don’t happen again.
Hopefully Michael Vaughan is in that camp

BTW - Since I've moved to Australia the amount of times I've heard the term paki used. That term is NEVER used in England anymore and hasn't since I was a child due to the offence it has on that community but of course that doesn't matter so much in Australia as there aren't as many from the Pakistani community living in Australia so still seems fair game here for some reason.

They'll still be happier being away from the UK.England quarantined in Brisbane for 14 days prior to the first test........................only to lose the Ashes in 12 days
Probably quite a few happy to get Covid so they don’t have to play the next testThey'll still be happier being away from the UK.
