Cricket

J Richardson has been very poor this innings.
Not test standard.
Bowled rubbish all day and could not hit the stumps against the bottom batters.
Don't want him to bowl again.
Yes, and Nesser under bowled. Will be beneficial, because I'm thinking our bowlers will have a truck load of work to do in Englands 2nd innings, a bit like the test against South Africa at Adelaide about 10 years ago.

Another no ball from Robinson..............he aint no Crusoe though, there was 11 in the first innings.

Has there been 2 more home country champs and away duds then Warner and Anderson

Thought I'd find a better example. Here's Chris Woakes.

England - 94 wickets at 22.6
Outside of England - 28 at 53.1 (and getting worse)

He has been no good in any country outside England (apart from Bangladesh where he played 2 tests).
Australia - 13 at 53.1
India - 3 at 81.3
NZ - 4 at 50.5
South Africa - 5 at 56.4

Just a very much mug punters view on Lyon , he’s very good undoubtedly, however imho like other number 1 bowlers he mirrors the success of the team throughout he’s career . I.e Lillee, Warne, McGrath , Lawson, Hughes , Johnson are great examples , when they are true greats we dominate , when there good that’s where we are , win more then we lose , but still lose too many .

One thing Gazza always show me is how bloody good Warney and Murli were , we must be due for a gun spinner .

Not saying it’s good or bad but it would have to be the first time we’ve ever had such little test experience in our selectors I.e Bailey , McDonald

I'm a little confused. Is Lyon good or not?

Every time I hear "bowled Gary", Lyon's place in the pecking order of great spinners gets taken down a peg or two:)
