Since 1990/91 every Adelaide Test bar 1997/98 against South Africa has produced a result. West Indies won in 1992/93, England in 1994/95 and India in 2003/04, and Australia won the rest.

With mostly fine weather forecast, expect it to be either 2-0 or 1-1 going to Perth.

With both sides boasting reasonable batting and unreliable bowling I stand by my assumption Ready Bear biscuit.
Can't see 40 wickets falling.

Re: Cricket

Yeah, but I can see Australia declaring at 500/2 in their second innings and setting England 700 to win.

Please, Fred, just win the bloody toss!

Ready Steady Go
You are spot on
Poms win the Toss, post a score somewhere North of 350 and it could be a bit more interesting.
Alternatively if Hayden,Langer and Ponting get on top of them in the first day, I'm gunna watch the V8's at Philip Island

Re: Cricket

Poms likely to go in with same 11 which is surprising. At this stage it looks like Aussies will to but not yet official.

England hoping for Giles to spin them to victory in this test

Think they may win just to draw the series 1-1
Pietrson to make a double hundred.

Re: Cricket

England 2/100 in what has been a slow but reasonable start for them.Collingwood & Bell not taking many risks.Bell has only scored 25 off around 90 balls.

Re: Cricket

Bit of a boring day but you get that in test match cricket. 2/129 now and we are almost at tea now. Will end up on about 220 at the end of the day.

Which would be very slow going.
