Coronavirus

I heard that lockdown will extend til Oct 3 via a colleague who has inside info from teachers association. I hope it’s not the case, homeschooling and trying to keep a business up and running don’t mix well … really fatigued at the moment.
Fatigued is the key word Mr T . As are our elected leaders and officials. Fatigued people make poor decisions. I know I have.

Aren't we vaccinating as fast as our supplies allow?
Unfortunately ALP sources want you to believe that. Wouldn't matter if Albo moved into the lodge tomorrow. Yes we started late. Of course there isn't 10 mill Pfizer doses in the fridge but neither are there enough nurses to administer them in a week if the supply was there. AZ is there by the bucket load. It will still take time but we need to be smarter about how we speed it up.

Did it ever get revealed how the teacher got it? Was she doing the wrong thing and then transmitted it to others?
We know that her and her husband transmitted to family members from a different household when visits were not allowed. It is not a stretch at all to think that she got it herself by partaking in unpermitted behaviour.

Andrews trying to promote thousands of available vaccination appointments whilst in the next sentence turning his politician autopilot on saying we can’t progress because we haven’t got warehouses of vaccines is politics at its lowest ....

Yeah all pollies are good at creating a platform of blameshift. Just in case something goes wrong when they might perceive something could go wrong.

Quite interesting to read recently he was disagreeing with Scomo about bringing in/intro in more Pfzr in Vic. He felt it would affect AZ uptake.
That was a head scratcher.
Wouldve thought quicker to get fully vax by any vax would be the better option. AZ 12 wks vs Pzr 6 wks. Pzr quicker

How does the AFL get an exception to keep playing in Melbourne?
maybe they all pack up and go to different state (like last yr). Eg Tassie this year or WA??

Watch for any sudden movement by footy teams before any announcement & then you can assume the rumours are true is my guess

My daughter is telling us some people she knows are now saying they will wait for Moderna. FFS where do they get this crap from? Plenty of rubbish obviously circulating on social media.

I have a solution: turn off social media, all of it, things would be much better. We agree to turn it back on when we hit 90% vaccinated of all over 12yo.

Hopefully the lockdown will end one day and I can actually see my daughter, but she is 26 and about a week of her second dose and getting pissed off with her mates.

This was from yesterday

Meanwhile contact tracers have identified the source of infection for 49 of the 55 new cases that were announced on Friday morning.

So why don’t they say where they caught it? Did all 49 get it from a house? Or at an exposure site? If they know the source surely they know where? Why not provide more information?

Dan has alluded to non-compliance so I can only assume it is mainly spread by people doing the wrong thing.

MEGALO, MEGALO, MEGALOmaniac. Who mad Dan *smile* GOD?

What's the difference between Chairman Xi, Little Kimmy rocket man, Putin on the ritz n Chairman Dan.

Dan's the only one who hasn't got any bombs.

Old Coroner cooties is still just a glorified flu virus, bit more infectious, bit more potent, mutates regularly, cannot be cured by any currently known medicines and symptoms are merely ameliorated somewhat by vaccination. Beyond time Australian *smile*, erm I mean Premiers joined the rest of the world, learnt to live with the reality of it rather than pretending they're going to eradicate it.

Hopefully, perhaps in future those few really smart expert scientist type people will stop *smile* around with n strengthening viruses n germs they have no capacity to eradicate in their milder forms. But that'll never happen, it's just wishful dreaming. '
Coz humans just love playing with fire n pulling things apart trying to see if they can fix *smile* that 'aint very broken in the first place.
