Absolutely he should have been isolated until a negative result received regardless of his reason for travel. If he was allowed to roam in the community after travelling from anywhere in NSW is unacceptable and putting Victorians at risk once again. If true that would be very disappointing after everything we have had to do.

Um, not really. Pfizer (still haven't seen an official statement on letterhead) rep said only them and Aussie Gov have been involved in contractual arrangements. Pretty much what Rudd's letter says as well, that Pfizer told him they'd only deal with Aussie Gov, but a senior official.
The report I read (ABC, not the evil Murdoch) stated that Pfizer flatly denied reports that KRudd played a role in any negotiations to secure earlier access to its vaccines.
"Contractual Arrangements" is what was denied. Something Krudd didn't claim and expressly mentioned in his letter that he didn't.
"Pfizer has flatly denied reports that former prime minister Kevin Rudd has played a role in Australia's negotiations to secure earlier access to outs vaccines."
Mmm. Okay so KRudd had absolutely nothing to do with it. Why is it even been discussed? Oh that's right someone leaked Kevin's very important letter to Pfizer to the ABC. A fair chance it was KRudd or someone very close to him. Kevin is a very important man and we must all get the occasional reminder of that. Kevin must have been getting a little lonely staring into the reflecting pool for so long.
