Coronavirus

SA Govt reporting that the removalist did not stay overnight in SA and there are no exposure sites. The family that he moved are all in isolation and have tested negative.

I wonder if Victoria will get that lucky......................
A presser just happening, they are announcing that there are 4 incursions to Victoria :(

*smile* typical. Another interstate COVID breach into Victoria. Yet SA gets lucky again.

We can't take a trick here. Let's hope these people have been quarantining and isolating per the strict red zone requirements and not out in the community in breach of the orders.

Weimar saying that the stories of the removalist crew is "not quite tying up at the moment". *smile* great.

He also said that 740 people arrived in Victoria yesterday on red zone permits. WTF? Are they handing out these permits in Corn Flakes packets?? How are we supposed to control this with so many people arriving from a virus rampant red zone very day??

I missed the start what's the deal?
One thing they said in relation to the removallists is that they are checking with the trucking company as things aren't quite gelling with what they are being told . (maybe a sign that they haven't followed their rules of entry???).

**Edit: I replied without seeing your comment above.

Mmm. Okay so KRudd had absolutely nothing to do with it. Why is it even been discussed? Oh that's right someone leaked Kevin's very important letter to Pfizer to the ABC. A fair chance it was KRudd or someone very close to him. Kevin is a very important man and we must all get the occasional reminder of that. Kevin must have been getting a little lonely staring into the reflecting pool for so long.
No doubt he leaked it. No doubt he's put some mayo on it. But today's response from the government is pure ScoMo spin machine in action.

I believe they have been in isolation; let's hope so.

The removalists are the real concern. Indications are that they have not been exactly transparent with their movements. Who knows where they have been and where they have spread it

It starts

4 people in the family from Whittlesea (2 confirmed as positive but have been in Iso the whole time as per red-zone rules).

4 people in the family from Maribyrnong (they were relocating interstate and have been moved to HQ).

I expect all 8 will test positive, but there is unlikely to be any exposure sites from this (or a very small number at most). the key is the movements of the moving truck. we know so far that they delivered and picked up on July 8 and crossed the border into SA early on July 9.

We have been hearing that the occupants of the truck had a test in VIC and was negative, but Jeroen Weimer never mentioned this in his presser (well i don't recall him mentioning it)

NSW in a bad position right now. Massive amounts of cases.

That removalists company I'll bet is a some small company (there are a lot of cowboys out there), the major companies (and I work for 1 of them) use rail to transport goods between states, they aren't driven around.

There was a house party/poker game involving 15 middle aged men in Sydney on Saturday night. They should know better.
Agree, they should have known better. There ought to have been 2-3 twenty something entertainers making sure gambling wasn't the focus of the party.

Breaking: A petrol station in Broadmeadows and a Coles in Craigieburn have been added as exposure sites after Victorian health authorities revealed fresh COVID-19 "incursions" on Monday.

I’ll certainly be mad if nsw leadership leads to another Vic lockdown. As mad as I was at Vic bungling of quarantine originally.
