There still has to be a better way. Other countries with much higher demand seem to be churning through it bucket loads easier than us.I'd say since this lockdown and with people in their 40s now eligible, they've been flooded.

For sure. Is it a lack of doses, a lack of people qualified to administer them, or bureaucratic incompetence? There still has to be a better way. Other countries with much higher demand seem to be churning through it bucket loads easier than us.
Reckon we’re over complicating it based on what I’ve seen/read in other countries. For sure. Is it a lack of doses, a lack of people qualified to administer them, or bureaucratic incompetence?
It's probably Daniel Andrews' fault. Scomo doesn't hold a needle, mate.
or bureaucratic incompetence?
Agree. Why can't we have nurses in pop-ups at shopping centres or local sports clubs or rec halls? Bring your Medicare card, bada bing bada bap bada boop.Reckon we’re over complicating it based on what I’ve seen/read in other countries.
Australia: The Complacent Country. Its this in my experience, with a large slathering of the individualism we still call American.
It isnt surprising. We've been on this trajectory for a while now.
A kind of societal complacence from being overfed, resulting in a huge bureaucratic sheltered workshop that places little premium on merit, and an acute lack of creative agility.
when China pulls the trigger. We're *smile*.

Probably would have had to beat Lindsay Fox to the front of the queue. .... then again Lindsay has the inside running with both sides of politics. ..!someone like Costigan would have got out of Murray River trading and into vaccination overnight,
and done the job a quarter as efficiently at 10 times the cost
Exactly. In fact, last night I was watching ABC 7 News from New York City and one segment was on pop up centres (2) that they’d opened in a bayside area of NYC where they’d identified low uptake. They reckoned they’d do tens of thousands over the next week in that small local area and then move on to somewhere else. And they have dozens and dozens of these pop ups operating and with minimal wait times. Americans and UK also use pharmacies as outlets.Agree. It has to be either a shortage of doses, people to give them, or...?

Heard the bloke from Chemist Warehouse on radio Friday say they'd done all the specific training and are ready to go as are thousands of other pharmacies I believe he said. ... but, still we wait!Americans and UK also use pharmacies as outlets.

I prefer the old school, chimpanzee technology.
It could be just that I think the notion of brand shopping for a life and community saving medicine, in the midst of a crisis
is one of the most perverse things ive ever experienced in western society.
And so im just being happy with what ive got?
17,700 had the jab yesterday in Victoria. Good result.
And 5 more cases overnight.
