There's that too, but I was referring to quarantine responsibilities. Hotel quarantine leaks like a sieve. We need fed funded, coordinated, dedicated, isolated quarantine facilities. It ain't rocket science, but it ain't easy. It requires the feds to do some work. That is beyond the coalition.

it is unfortunate you resort to abuse rather than responding to the discussion around the f'up that is our national vaccine rollout, and the issues we have with hotel quarantine, and the unwillingness of the federal government to get involved.
Nice pivot, let's not talk about the economy and opportunity cost to the economy through staying shut for another six months, or even the cost to the education sector, or the tourism sector, let's now pretend that those things don't matter as long as they don't affect us personally.
They've already said they're not likely to open up until mid-2022. I don't know what the reasoning is but presumably it's based on medical advice. They would be keen to open up as soon as it's safe.

No it's the slow vaccination rollout. The faster we get people FULLY vaccinated the quicker we can open the country.
