Coronavirus

Availability? Europe was reneging on or delaying their supply agreements, and we were busy making our own AZ as it's cheaper to produce.

All the experts said that coming up with a vaccine is one thing, but getting it mass-produced and distributed takes a while.

Here's how sh1t we are going based on the Fed Government's own targets regarding the rollout.

That's truly sh1t, and "starting from behind" is no excuse.

Luck, and clearly mistakes were made. Don't see how anyone can deny that.

Anyway, until we get a majority of the population vaccinated outbreaks will occur and contact tracing errors will happen. Get vaccinated, and accelerate the vaccination program.
Anyone else getting angry at the people who are protesting and complaining about lockdowns, and at the same time refusing, or are too belligerent to get vaccinated ?

In other words, the action that will grossly limit or prevent further lockdowns is the one that many of these complainers won't take. The idiocy and self defeating nature of these people is truly astounding.

Many haven't had a chance yet, but I don't wanna hear from anyone - friend or otherwise - complaints about lockdowns if they haven't been vaccinated when they've either had ample chance to, or worse, are refusing.

Yeah. For these morons its all part of the same social control conspiracy, so it has its own logical consistency.

But the trend is increasing steadily, so it's a bumsteer to base a projection on the "current 7 day rolling average".

Just admit it, St ScoMo and his merry men (do they let women in?) f***ed up, pure and simple.

The rest of the world is starting to open up but we don't have the vaccine supplies to get the job done. I reckon the biggest concern for the Feds at the moment is that lots of people will present for vaccines and they won't have enough, for them this is a political problem, for the rest of us it is a health issue.

Yeah they are behind. Better get the cattle prods out.

75% behind where they said they would be in March, 50% behind their revised target. And still Scomo and his mates have nothing meaningful to say, or how they intend to salvage the situation.

You b1tch and moan about travellers putting the economy at risk but when we are in serious danger of falling behind the rest of the world because of the Federal Gov's sh1t performance on vaccines, you have nothing to say.

I don't give a flying *smile* what baseline we're traiiling. We'll open when it's safe, not when you demand it.

Dodgy maths is OK when it suits you. As with climate.

Rush, rush, rush, like a lemming over the *smile* cliff.

And vaccination will help us be safe, and open earlier, which is better for the economy. All you had to say was "yes we are doing really badly on vax roll-out, would be good if the feds lifted their game on this".

But you've retreated into bluster, outrage and obfuscation, which is pretty typical of your argumentative style.

You trust this government to know when it's safe? I don't. I trust them to declare it safe when it's in their best interests or they face bad polls if they don't.

But I don't get this narrative that we coming from behind and that's why we're lagging. Australia is in the leading pack of countries in the world and #ScottyNotSoHotty's Government, our government, the federal government, will keep Australia there.

Haha the lefties are really gang-banging today!

How is it affecting you personally that they are behind in the rollout? What travesty has the federal government inflicted upon you?
