Is Frydenberg serious?? Only a day or so ago he brought up how bad the hotel quarantine was, yet today says that Victorians need to hear messages of hope and not retreading what brought us to this.

Tony Abbott having a dig today as well that we need a plan, we can't give an indication of what will happen UNTIL cases are down and positive tests rates are down.
Whilst active cases continue to decline, our positive test rate is not dropping quick enough and certainly nowhere near levels seen in other states. We were 0.67% today, NSW were 0.08%, we are 8 times higher than the positive test rate in NSW, thats still way too high unfortunately, but clearly not an issue for those trying to point score. I get that we need to start to open up BUT the worst thing we can do is open up and then get another outbreak. That will be way harder and more impactful for businesses than extending restrictions if required.

What the hell was that all about? Jones is an absolute *smile* head but that video looked very ordinary. Obviously don't have the full context but it seemed very heavy handed. And who were those blokes arresting her? Didn't look like cops.

Don't think stage 4 will end on September 13. Reckon we'll get an extra 2 weeks at least. Numbers aren't falling quickly enough and still too much "mystery" community transmission.

His comments are clearly orchestrated to help out his Victorian state mate in O’Brien.
The cases didn't go up consistently and they won't drop continuously ..... It's like footy even when we win the opponent still scores.

Nobody can help O'Brien to be Premier, by the next election we will have forgotten all this. Only thing is whether Andrews wants to be leader after 2022. Mikakos could win in a canter. Merlino could put the whip away at the clock tower.

It's a proposal document that was written a while ago by people in the Health Dept which some bureaucrat has leaked.
