Gotta feel for the hospital workers, it must be a nightmare for them.

Personally I'm staying relatively locked down, very few outings and the gym is off limits. I'm double vaxed with my 3rd dose due in a few weeks, but would rather avoid catching the bloody thing at the same time.

Oh and Novax Joker is an A grade F wit and he and his anti medicine/science crew can gagf.

We’re nowhere near in a position to adopt the flippant “just live around it” approach just yet.

We’re gonna need some brakes applied. Already happening behind the scenes I hear. Might only need to be for a few weeks if this strange plateau effect that’s happened in one or two other countries can be achieved here. There’s a thought this might be happening now in London. Bit early though to be sure.

I have a friend’s daughter who has Covid confirmed by a RAT. She has been trying to get a PCR test the last couple of days. She turned up at a testing centre at 6am this morning. She was about car number 60. She has been advised that they will be closing the testing centre at 12pm.

She is not terribly sick with it which is a major positive. But she needs the PCR test so she gets the Government support payment. As she has not been able to work this week in her job. The Government will need to review this.

I wish anyone luck who needs to get a PCR test today.
The whole west side of the state is screwed with testing centers.

Most people are just rapid testing if you were lucky to already have some on hand, then in iso if they are positive for 7 days.
The numbers are false for the amount of true cases are running around and no one will be getting notified if they are a close contact.

Like Leysy I possibly got my Covid at the Cricket , though I was also in the golf clubs bar at the same time as a positive person. Funny enough the day I felt a bit sick ( man flu) i also received text saying I can get my booster. Tested Saturday , positive result Monday , for me it’s been nothing major and shows the vax is working .

However considering that like everyone else I’m unable to work and have to isolate , I think it’s bull *smile* that a non vaxer can come into our country wether it be for work or leisure or in Djokovics case both.

Im certainly not a highly educated individual, however isn’t it just common sense that you minimise the risk of flaring it up again or bringing in a new strain .

This really *smile* me about the unvaccinated and the calls to treat them the same as everyone else. Why can't the feds convert a portion of Howard Springs into a Hospital, including ICU, for unvaccinated COVID patients? Staff the centre with the medical and frontline professionals who refuse to get vaccinated as well.

Just to make sure there is some compassion, arrange for Novak Djokovic to play an exhibition match there.

I don't know exactly but I'd guess he's entitled to 4 weeks per year.
